I'm still waiting to see more about the myojin who transports a newly blind Toshi to what I have assumed is a different plane. Seemed like a PW but also a spirit, which I find hard to put together. I may be off base, but have been wondering for some time now about that whole scenario.

Thats when you add personality onto an inanimate object, so i fail to get your argument. Its not like they made a PW stuffed bear or rock. It is a fantasy setting afterall, sometimes there will be "fur" or other non human traits.
Have you guys forgotten about asceticism? That allows you to regenerate all of your creatures in addition to giving them hexproof. I think that in and of itself, almost justifies adding green to a deck.
This deck doesnt have a spot for it. It doesnt need hexproofing and its creatures typically arent dying by the time you would play asceticism. you would have a backup like sun titan or more creatures in case of boardsweeps.
I asked at the local shop and they said it has been pushed back to January. The 11th he thinks.
I for one think the choice of promo is a good one. The cards are all going to fit flavorfully with the story in the comic (no baneslayers). They generally dont include rares in this sort of promo, see fnm, mpr, etc.
For the haters, I'm reminded of a previous quote. If wotc put 100 bills in the boosters somebody would complain about how they're folded.
Due to her obvious affinity with snakes, including her clothing patterns, I'm pulling for a DFC. Human or vampire that transforms into a snake. Hopefully, no matter what she is, its a card as good as its art.
So I can't help but notice that in the Argyle piece, there are no heads to the snakes. And also it may just be "snake." There are no ends to them/it in sight, just various thicknesses throughout the room. For there to be no heads in the composition, i'm pressed to say that "no snake heads" could have been part of the description given to the artist from the art department. And if that's the case, I'm thoroughly intrigued. I mean... you can tell that she is going to have something to do with snakes, but what could it be? Her clothes even mimic patterns in the snake skin.

Sorin looks totally p'd off. Wouldnt want him coming after me. I really want to know who the playmat is. Very interesting use of colors with the magic around the hands and the background.
That is more or less what I said in post 228. I can see them all appearing in a core, or being split in half like the pains, filters, 2010 lands. I just dont believe they would do it in a block. As far as their own merits, I agree that they would be a great go to for reprinting but there is no precedent at all for that heavy a commitment to reprinrs in an original setting. Basically I'm saying I believe if they're reprinted it will be in the core.
My wife would probably agree that my arguments have no merit, but unlike with her, I dont have to agree with that assessment.
