    Hey FPM. Yeah, I'm looking for the templates you can just drop into MSE2. I'm trying to get the .zip files from the MSE Custom Script site (http://pifro.com/mtg/viewtopic.php?t=12) that you have linked in that thread. I've been trying for three days or so, and I can't get beyond about 50% download before my browser drops out. I thought I might try an alternate site (if there was one) before I drag out a copy of Getright or something :p

    Sorry if this has already been posted, but I thought it was a good idea, and it ties in with the vanishing and alternate-timelines thing.

    What if 'vanishing' refers to alternate versions of a permanent going in and out of the plane? Yep, I'm talkin' about flip-cards, baby...

    When Defender of the Weak has no time counters on it, flip it.

    Vanish might even work with lands, although that could get a bit hairy keeping track of it. Like Forests shifting into Plains (erosion), or Islands into Mountains (volcanic eruptions). I had a thought about Vanish working both ways, and time counters coming back onto the flipped creature, but that would mean endless flipping.

    Other possibility: playing the flip card either way (ie both 'ends' have casting costs), and the time counter removal being optional. So you can have one creature, or the other, or both, if you can see their other half becoming useful later on in the game.

    I've just downloaded MWS, and I was wondering whether there was any way to import custom sets from the now-outlawed MTG Editor. My set is about 350 cards big, so I'm not really looking forward to putting them back in one-by-one Tongue

    I had this idea last night, just running it up the flagpole, see what y'all think.

    There was some brief mention about including Vanguard cards in this set. Well, what about something like a Vanguard avatar, but something tied into the whole 'fractured world' thing?

    I'm talking about Home Grounds. (I was going to use the term Domains, but I know it's been used already). So you start with this Home Ground in play, and it gives you and your opponent certain bonuses - unless they also have a Home Ground to play, in which case, they get the bonus for their Home Ground, and you get yours. Example:

    Phyrexian Junkyard
    Home Ground (Reveal this card at the start of play.)
    If your opponent has no Home Ground in play, then all Artifacts cost 1 less to play. Otherwise, Artifacts cost you 1 less to play.
    Not all of the invasion's legacies were a detriment to those who survived.

    Godshome
    Home Ground (Reveal this card at the start of play)
    If your opponent has no Home Ground in play, all multicoloured creatures gain haste. Otherwise, multicoloured creatures you control gain haste.
    Karona's influence drove all who worshipped her into a frenzy, forsaking everything for the lust of battle

    With the whole 422-card thing flying around, this would be awesome for filling those extra 120-odd spots. It also opens up a section for spells and creatures that affect and are affected by people's Home Grounds, as well.

    Phyrexian Automaton must attack each turn if able.
    Phyrexian Automaton comes into play with three +1/+1 counters. If Phyrexian Junkyard is your Home Ground, it comes into play with five +1/+1 counters instead.
    Whenever Phyrexian Automaton attacks or blocks, remove a +1/+1 counter from it.
    Without its masters, it continued doing the only thing it knew: killing.
