I didn't even realize that these were issues until you noted them all out, and then as I went through them, noticed how much work you've been doing and noticed how much smoother things ran.
Oh cool deal! Yeah I play with a few guys from Durham; I go to App State. Nice to know there's another Lands player in the area! I feel like Blue Lands has done quite well in the NC / VA region. Feel free to PM me about any tournament details in Durham, as I could be interested at some point.
while I don't have it together at the moment (still need to pick up Trops and Intuitions), Lands.dec is by far my favorite Legacy deck. I had the RGW version together for years (running Nomad Stadium and Nantuko Monestary). I'm in Asheville, NC, and am trying to get to more Legacy events.
1) No. You only need to pay for a Pact if it resolved.
2) Again, no. A spell can never target itself.
3) And, alas, no. The original Sharuum is going to be in play, and then when Sculpting Steel enters the battlefield to copy the Sharuum, the Sharuum is still in play. You can only target artifact cards that are currently already in the graveyard.
While you're trying to defeat the team, 'an opponent' is still just one player. So, one player must cast the three spells to get Mindbreak Trap's discount.
While this process would take AWHILE, it is possible to do that. You would need to keep doing this until you happen to catch Ulamog on the bottom of the library.
Just keep in mind that you don't actually win until they are unable to draw, not just when milled out.
I know one of my buddies would be first in line as soon as they (assuming they do, of course) announce that Mr One-Eyed is in this FtV.
I might get it, depending if there's anything moderately exciting in there, but I'm really upset at Gwendy being on the reserved list. She was my first general for EDH, and I'd love to get my Legendary Creature - Human W**** all shiny and whatnot.
If it still said "When Lotus Vale enters the battlefield..." then you wouldn't have to. But always read the Oracle text when unsure about something. Since the Oracle text says "If it would enter the battlefield, instead..", then at that point its not a mountain and you must sac the lands.
This is different than when dealing damage. That's what you're probably getting confused with. Destroy effects just happen, or not. In this case, the Exemplar dies, nothing else does.
Damage on the other hand lasts until end of turn. So if you, say, Pyroclasmed, then you Exemplar will die (due to only being a 2/2), then all your other Knights will shrink some and still have the 2 points of damage on them, probably causing some of them to die as well.
Went Phyrexian and went 3-1. I lost rd 1 after trying to build a 3 color deck. Got mana screwed game 1, and got blown away by Black Sun's Zenith game 2.
Changed it to just BG and won out the rest of the day. Lost one game to a Sunblast Angel and that was it. My best combo was Livewire Lash with Unnatural Predation. So with running infect, it was absolutely retarded.
Now im asking this as a review of the ENTIRE SET. so i'd really rather not have the whole "JACE IS THE BEST, AND FORMAT SHIFTING," argument. Even though it's true, one card (while it may sell a set) does not make a set. Imagine if Jace had been printed in homelands....It'd still be a cruddy set.

Worldwake has Jace.
'Nuff said.
Didn't he say that's exactly what he DIDN'T want to see? Worldwake did have other cards in it that were good.
Depends on how you stack them. Since both put the abilities are triggered for "when Hero of Bladehold attacks...", you choose what order to put them on the stack.
If you stack it as such:
TOP OF STACK
Battle Cry
Put dudes in play
BOTTOM OF STACK
Then the battle cry will resolve first before putting them into play and all your guys will get the bonus, except for the two creatures being put into play.
If you stack it as such:

Battle Cry
BOTTOM OF STACK
Then putting the guys into play will resolve first and be there for when the battle cry ability resolves.
However, when looking up Humility, the cards in the wording (Opalescence, Worship) aren't hyperlinked.

*never mind on 3... see previous post*

Abilities are only active while on the battlefield, unless it specifies that it works from somewhere else (see: Reassembling Skeleton).

And c'mon, Homelands did have cards that weren't terrible. Ihsan's Shade, Merchant Scroll, Serrated Arrows, Autumn Willow, Wall of Kelp
Just as a little add on to what everyone else said:
No, under no circumstances may you lie for any reason in the game of Magic.
