I more or less want my opponents' creatures to stay dead. A mafia puts hits on people to get them out of the picture. It is fairly funny though.
I like having the ability to regenerate my creatures too. Laquatus's Champion is probably one of my favorite cards. Black hasn't had a ton of decent regeneration cards or kill spells in a couple sets. I mean, Sudden Death was nice, but the group I play with uses some pretty huge cards.
The ones that everyone thinks are good(including me):
Glittering wish- free multicolor card from out side the game with ravnica block in T2 still. this could be as broken as Metallic wish in mirrodin, and we all know what taht does, or would do:o
Bitter ordeal-new spinn off of cranial extraction with some sort of storm ability? nice. Damnation and then put them through a bitter ordeal? nice, again.

Tarox bladewind- mega burn, good with dragonstorm
scourge of kher ridges- amazing beard control on a reusable 6/6 flying body
ACtually i think new benalia is a pretty cool card, and good at that. If you play it on a turn where its too early to play something like this, you can check if you want the next card or not. its some sort of tempoo accelerator.
I'm liking FS. It has lots of cool lands, more variation, which if you cant appreciate that, I don't really see how teh older sets appealed to you. favorite cards: the 2 red dragons and teh new angel. very nice.

teh beauty of this card is its ability to make you discard another copy of itself, pay the madness cost and get twice the power. Question: does the madness part only work for you, or does it apply to your opponent as well?
Not money rare:
new extraction (notice it only removes creatures from game)
venser (its good, but not money rare good)
tomb stalker (dredge actually want the lands/dredge/creatures cards all to be in the yard)
Korlash (good but not money rare good since easily chumped)
Korlash is easily chumped? Geez, what do you want after regenerate to keep it alove? Indestructible and untargetable?
I think a lot of people here are forgetting those 2 awesome dragons. their ability is just amazing. Tarox is a 4 damage burn spell that you can play combat trixks with, with granduer. scourge is sick. wipe all the creatures, and then pound? you gotta be kidding me when you say that some stuff like tombstalker beats this.
Heres a list of the bes 5 in my opinion in order:
1 Scourge of Kher Ridges- Once this hets the field, its hard to stop. you need some removal and fast.
2 Tarox Bladewing- Again, once this hits the field, you need to watch for that sudden granduer, because it has flying and haste. Its only second because it doesnt have the swoeep the board abilty of scourge
3 Glitering Wish- this can be very strong or very weak, depending on the color combo you are playing. Cant really say right now what colors you should play, but it is easily splashable if your are playing white or green and something else. Not as strong in set because there are 3 monocolored creatures in the top 5 and no multis
4 Korlash, Heir to Blackblade- well, black aggro is strong. this gives you 2 swamps every time you ditch a dead draw.
5 Delay- great counter, thas all i can say. its a really well disigned card.
Wow, just wow. utter board domination. i want some of these. hope the are it sweet. if tarox bladewing hadnt beed spoiled already, i would've wanted that art for this card. i want 4.
