2-1 on Saturday night. Lost 0-2 to jeskai miracles. Defeated Jund 2-0 and 8 whack 2-1. Couldn’t seem to draw anything of use against jeskai. Also, turn 1 thoughtseize to see jace, teferi and banslayer with 4 lands. Take jace and don’t draw anything of any relavence. Probably need to mull more aggressively against decks like that.

Went 4-0 tonight with 10 people playing. Defeated infect 2-1, g/w value town 2-0, Ponza 2-1 and humans 1-0-1. My value town opponent mulled both games and had to ghost quarter her own gavony township turn 2 to get a colored source to cast birds. Ponza was such a grind. Game 3, I had more lands in my graveyard than spells at one point. I was finally able to keep some lands with a reveler in hand when my opponent cast primal command for inferno Titan. I play reveler with with 2 mana left and draw k command, k command and blood crypt and was able to make her discard the Titan. My humans opponent played auriok champion game 2 and gets up to 36. I slowly chip away while hiding behind 2 ensnaring bridges. If he had one a couple of more turns he would have finally been able to get through and take me out. I used my only explosives to take out 2 mantis riders. Champion is a very annoying cards if I can’t answer it.

Against skred dragons, I side out fatal pushes, blood moons and collective brutality. I may trim a bedlam reveler also. I usually side in ensnaring bridges, hazoret and molten rains. I think it’s a pretty close match up. Chandra, new sarkhan and all the dragons can be tough to get through. A friend of mine plays the deck and he boards in anger of the gods and Relic of Progenitus. He may also side in molten rains. I can’t remember off the top of my head.

Fear of Chalice is very high. Chalice on one stops most of our threats and all our tools to dig for answers. Relic on the other can be stifled or you have to stay ahead of it. I hate playing against Rest in Peace personally but even that can be played around.

Gary Jules covering "Mad World" by Tears for Fears:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KL0rHIBYlY0
Shadows Fall covering Pink Floyds "Welcome to the Machine":http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0z6SpiwEhQQ

I think Gary Jules version is vastly superior to Tears for Fears. "Welcome to the Machine" on the other hand is another story. I like both versions. I do appreciate how Shadows Fall took a great song and made it their own, which is important to a cover.
