You make good points. Not sure about n°1 in my case since I don't play Overgrowth, but the rest is fair.
Leyline is also better at building devotion, which is another selling point.
We'll get to see what people brew. I think IF we want to try it, I could see Arbor Elf getting the axe, and us playing more mana dorks (even a few Noble Hierarchs). Here is a list I threw together : I reduced slightly my toolbox, removed the Oath of Nissa, added more dorks and more tutors. I've been trying Llanowar Tribe in place of my Jadelight Rangers, and wow these guys work hard, although they are a bit of a nombo with Burning Tree Emissaries.
I'm not a great deckbuilder so take this list with a grain of salt, but it can ramp up very fast beyond tron mana. I might consider adding even more tutors to the list to get them more consistently...
Even managed a dirty T2 kill in my goldfishing ^^
Leyline on the battelfield.
T1 : land + Noble Hierarch
T2 : Nykthos + Burning Tree + Burning Tree + Bird of Paradise + Pact of Negation ==> Craterhoof Behemoth since I had 8 devotion on the battlefield.
The green leyline is kinda exciting to be honest. This in your opening hand + any dork (apart from arbor elf) gives you 4 manas on turn 2. It even seems likelier to happen than our favorite Arbor + Utopia Sprawl combo since it required these specific cards to work (when Leyline works with both Llanowar and Birds).
This needs to be seriously considered. I don't know if it's a game changer but it has a lot of potential.
Summer veil I don't really like because of the color restriction. I suppose it could work in some sideboards but I'm not so sure.
Hadn't checked the topic in a while, I see you've been brewing with Llanowar Tribe. I didn't expect this card to have an impact but here we are
I like these cards, I like the art of Anna's Chandras.
Leslak has a point that having so many cards PW cards of each Gatewatch members make them look like pokemon cards sort of.
It's not a dealbreaker but yeah I'd love to see different characters. They got themselves quite cornered by tying the PW permanent type to the lore, because a "new" planeswalker has a lot of implication in the story so we can't have new ones each set or it creates "plotholes".
We never had this problem with simple Legendary Creatures.
I really don't get if the missing "haste" part in the reminder text is intentional or not and if it means older cards such as Greater Gargadon and Keldon Halberdier are errated.
Some of these are extremely nice, some others I really dislike. Chibi asthetic somehow feels wrong on Magic cards (Narset, Nissa, Vivien, Saheeli and Nahiri) BUT I don't care, if that makes someone happy then so be it.
Nicol Bolas is also quite the fail, and Ajani has a stomach-ache ?
I do love most of the other artworks though, and the full-art gallery is really pleasing to the eye.
Liliana better be grateful and at least Orzhov aligned next time I see her.
they already have Kaya for that and would leave the mono-black spot vacant in the gatewatch lineup.
(we curently have a white spot free, but I imagine Teyo will join soon).
To be honest I've never understood this "there can only be one PW aligned with each color combination" mantra. This feels incredibly restrictive. Planeswalkers can occupy different niches in the same color, can't they ?
Pretty sure it wouldn't break the gatewatch either ^^
(In Orzhov you can have a Blink-oriented Kaya and a Zombie-Oriented Liliana easy peasy)
This actually bums me out :,(
Kytheon was my first duel commander deck, it feels like I saw him grow and witnessed him passing away.
He was not a complex character but he was a good guy.
Good night sweet prince.
Not a big fan of the Karn inclusion. It seems powerful and out of flavor at the same time ^^
Also it is an expensive Wish in a sense. I've tried playing Glittering Wish in the past in other decks and wasn't satisfied.
I'd like to see a deck including the new Kiora as soon as you get one CurdBros. It's got me real excited
I really like Domri and Vivien for creatures builds too, will try them !

I'm a fan of young Chandras though, especially the novice Pyromancer. Anna Steinbauer nailed it.

Really like the angel too.
However Woja looks quite chubby (maybe he's eaten too much lazotep coating). Isn't he in a weird pose ?

Will slot right in my Green-based EDH decks, and hopefully in devotion too.
I even wonder if it will still be worth playing Pact with it in the deck...
