i think a new color might come to Magic. but when it does, i believe it will be released in a major set and not a minor set such as future sight. if they decide to introduce a new color in future sight, i think it would only be in the form of several timeshifted cards. what bothers me is how the basic lands would be distributed. because of this, i doubt there will be any new color in future sight. this is best suited to boast sales off a new block and not a 165 card set.
They were discussing adding it to Planar Chaos, but decided not to. The lands were to have been distributed as a sixteenth card in each booster.
Make sure you don't double post, it can get ya in trouble. Use the edit button Otherwise, those prices seem right, although I got 15 a piece for my Extripates on E-Bay.
Sorry, I'm coming to this thread wayyy late and don't have time to read it all. But, what about Barack Obama? (Hope I spelled that right) I as a staunch conservative find this guy very scary simply because I like him and if someone who really drinks the conservative Kool-Aid(except on certain social issues ) like me likes him, we might be in trouble.
I think magic is falling apart everyday for instance CS it was HORRIBLE I hate it.
I beg to differ. I can't disagree with you hating it, that's your right, but the set is far from horrible. Snow lands, Scrying Sheets and Ohran Viper alone make the set not horrible.
Well Kami, Rancorcrankor just told us all how it could work and it does seem plausible. Let's hope it does happen. It would be great to shake things up a little.
Ok. Here's the deal. A sixth color was already purposed a long time ago. Deserts were supposed to be the sixth basic land type, but at the last minute they changed their minds. So, not only is it possible for there to be a sixth color. It's probable since they have been re-visiting old ideas. Kamigawa was supposed to have been made years ago, but got put on the back burner. If a whole set was going to be done but was put off, why not a single color? And to all those that keep talking card back non-sense, here's a newsflash, What if they didn't change it? It's not like most people give a crap about the card back anyway. I myself only care what's on the front.
The only thing I'm seeing that could be a problem is too few lands. Even in an exceptionally fast deck, 16 isn't enough. Also, you might want to find room for Taste for Mayhem.
lay an island for the turn, discard the new Elvish Spirit Guide for one red mana, play Mogg Fanatic, tap the island to play Pongify targeting the fanatic, in response you sacrifice the fanatic for one to your opponent, or to kill one of his creatures and put a 3/3 into play.
Umm.. one small problem with that. Necromancers are wizards.
