That could fit in my Ephara, God of the Polis deck, but I prefer repeatable sources of blink such as Conjurer's Closet or Venser, the Sojourner. I only run 2 "blink" instants: Ghostly Flicker (because I run both Archaeomancer and Mnemonic Wall) and Momentary Blink (because it can be reused. I might see myself adding this or Turn to Mist (easier casting cost, no possibility to cantrip, but saves me replaying the creature) if there are too many sweepers around and I need to actually focus on reusing my ETB creatures, rather than playing new ones and overextending. I actually prefer Turn to Mist, though, because it saves me having to replay the creature.
I've not much experience with Slivers - but if you want cheap 5 colour mana fixing, you could do worse than get one of each of the tri-coloured lands (the Arcane Sanctum cycle and the Sandsteppe Citadel cycle). Won't hurt your budget very much, and each of them fixes 3 colours at once.
Other than Harsh Mercy (pretty nice against tribal decks), that's like saying I can play Bird tribal cos there's Suntail Hawk, Sage Owl and even Aesthir Glider in the format!
If this is EDH, it's EDH with a much smaller deck and thus more consistency. If this is Legacy Highlander, it's more consistent in that you will always have access to your commander. And with only 49 card slots - let's see how many staples you can avoid adding...
Just my observations, of course. To each his own. And yes, I am having a nice day (:
If I wanted to play CMC 3 or less, I'd play Standard. Or Modern. Or Legacy.
Part of the appeal of EDH for me is using cards that aren't used very frequently, and one of the reasons why cards aren't used too frequently is high cost but splashier effects. This format is just yet another format to fight for the smaller pool of mana-efficient cards out there.
And, with practically all of White's sweepers removed except for Martial Coup and lolRetribution of the Meek, no wonder elves are running rampant. This sounds like the kind of format dreamed up by people who hate their Heedless One to eat a well-deserved wrath.
Considering Daretti has a good deal of graveyard recursion, Gamble is as good as a tutor. If you slow the game down so much, what might happen is that people start gunning for YOU And, would you consider maybe less flimsy win conditions, like Hellkite Igniter, Hellkite Tyrant, or since you already have Incite Rebellion, in place of it Insurrection?
Essentially, it's a meta/personal preference call. If there are Planeswalkers or things with non-tap activated abilities that you must shut down, then go with the archon. Otherwise, at 7 mana 1 more power and toughness and vigilance isn't too much to write home about, so you can choose whichever one you like more.
If there are too many wrath effects in your meta, then "non-creature" token sources can help you recover, of which Sacred Mesa is one of the most mana-efficient (only 1W per token with built in evasion) compared to say Mobilization or Heliod, God of the Sun. And you can produce a Pegasus in response to the upkeep trigger to sac, so as long as you have 1W around, it will still live (:
Finishers you can consider: Coat of Arms (drop just before your attack so it doesn't help your opponents too much), Mirror Entity, Storm Herd (not so much token as lifegain based, but it is one of the few "I win" buttons in mono-white).
I used to love this card to bits when I first started back in Time Spiral, because I played WW.
But now, left behind by power creep: Honor of the Pure, Intangible Virtue are cheaper and better for the same types of decks this would fit in. And WW doesn't exactly like starting with 40 life...
I got into Magic during Time Spiral, then drifted away before Alara came out because of lack of a playgroup, high prices on cards, and Jace's face freaking EVERYWHERE. Occasionally I would check in on the main site to read stories and flavour, that's about it.
Then, I took the plunge and went into MTGO about half a year back, and I had a vast pool of cards at cheap prices (compared to paper), a playgroup, and nice pictures on cards with rules enforcement. Been lurking around here for EDH and Pauper ideas, and finally thought I should sign up so I can post stuff. I mainly play EDH, Pauper, Modern and Jhoira Basic (in that order)
Xenograft says hi - that way your Frost Titan gets to tap down TWO permanents when attacking!
If you play against guys with a lot of big creatures - then while not really in-theme, Keiga, the Tide Star is a Dragon and can help steal your opponent's best when she dies.

If you can find one, Yuan Shao, the Indecisive might be too cute, but with Iroas everything is unblockable!
But delver still on board, cruise on board!1!one
Better prepare for the mirror...
But yes, do consider Frost Titan instead...
How about True Conviction?

Introductions are in order.

My greatest hopes for Magic are:
1. For Wizards to print a Legendary Creature - Rabbit. I need a Rabbit commander, even if it's worse than Kezzerdrix and Vizzerdrix combined.
2. Find a way to combine stuff like Isperia, Supreme Judge and Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker with stuff like Avatar of Slaughter and Grand melee so I can dare my opponents to COME AT ME BRO.
That's it. Hi all!
Also, Sacred Mesa and Intangible Virtue.
