i mean what were they thinking ? and the possibilities of his return are so high, he could find a solution himself, one loyal minion somewhere might help him from the outside or what could also happen is, that in a large fight with another yet unknown supervillain his prison gets damaged so he can free himself or w/e.
not many known planeswalker died, the main villain didnt die... what is this war ? it was supposed to be the endgame finale, i got really hyped for story but this... boring. not saying a 12 year old could have written a better story ... but, maybe a 12 year old could have written a better story.
sorry, but i just had to express some kind of disappointment. its also just towards the story, the set itself seems to be super strong.
Yeah I also would have thought the death count would be higher given that this is a WAR!
Ajani, Jaya, Dovin, Ral Zarek and Sarkhan were all be people who could have died and would have had a good run and decent story arcs. And would have given more oompf to the story. Gideon feels a bit like Elspeth 2.0 so I am actually a bit disappointed with that.

nissa, sorin, nahiri, ashiok, huatli, saheeli, teferi, chandra, tezzeret, vivien,. those are characters with boring stories or stories that could end here to make room for new planeswalkers (teyo, wanderer and so on)
this kind of feels misplaced on ravnica, not sure if it is cause we had no vehicles on ravnica before or if it is the submerge theme... it just feels awkward here
the card itself is also not that exciting, 2 mana for 2/3 that needs to be crewed in order to attack just to get easely blocked doesnt feel good. i think we have a dozen better uncommons in this set and i am not talking about the UC walkers

not sure about the white black sorin, he kind of feels black to me or one the otherside should be mardu, but i dont get the WB walker here, i mean he was mono black before, so it would fit, and red is kind of a inistrad color for vampires anyways.
not sure if the artwork is just to misleading for me, i mean abilitywise he could have white, but flavorwise...

either way. this is hands down the one thing that i absolutely cannot stand about the modern era of magic. its exceptionally irritating to click a thing expecting news or a bit of information, or whatever, and then find out that no, its just an announcement that they're going to talk about it later.

its also kind of a flavorfail for this card, if they r supposed to harvest sparks and comes only at the cost of 3 casualities
