my LGS refuses to hold brawl events, despite the fact that several players ask for it. there is a huge commander community that doesnt want to play standard but wouldnt mind to play brawl.
arena has formats that are not played in paper anyways, whats the argument for those ?
just use arena as a platform to promote brawl if the interest is not as high as they want it.
this maro post is not just stupid, it is ignorant and a dangerous attitude as well if u ask me. but ok... already deleted arena cause it sucks (at least it does for me), so guess this is just another reason to keep it uninstalled

Ajani, Jaya, Dovin, Ral Zarek and Sarkhan were all be people who could have died and would have had a good run and decent story arcs. And would have given more oompf to the story. Gideon feels a bit like Elspeth 2.0 so I am actually a bit disappointed with that.

nissa, sorin, nahiri, ashiok, huatli, saheeli, teferi, chandra, tezzeret, vivien,. those are characters with boring stories or stories that could end here to make room for new planeswalkers (teyo, wanderer and so on)

Sad thing is that dack is dead and didn’t even got a card(hope wotc does some shenanigans to revive dack)(he deserves better) (instead of killing Jace, Chandra , liliana, Nissa... they go and kill dack and Gideon that imo are better characters to drive stories(outside of alread opened plots)(that Gideon had))

He is one of the 3 deaths also one of the protagonista of the novel aparently.
Why no card for hin (maybe) I would guess someone in R&D and the story line department don’t like hin or there was some shenanigans later, or they don’t give a crap (I could see the last being truth)

the new 5 mana spell gets so much stronger for just 3, vraskas contempt for 2 mana, insight for 2 mana, 1 mana cast down,even if its just another opt, sounds all good and u will still have another copy on ur hand if needed
actually i doubt that true name nemesis would be a big deal in modern, it would probably just boost the merfolk decks. i do not see this going into grixis builds or anything like that (maybe in sideboards here and there?)

its also kind of a flavorfail for this card, if they r supposed to harvest sparks and comes only at the cost of 3 casualities

so far, from the 4 revealed gods i think this one is the weakest
you get a 4/4 creature, deal 4 damage to a creature, gain 4 life and mill 4 cards ... for 5 mana as a rare... what is there to complain about ?
its not like this card will be worth alot, but i think this card is playable and not just in limited
