when u pay a high price for a "premium" product and get a uncommon... but at least maro & friends can drink champagne
wonder what longterm effect this will have on customers, destroying so much trust with such a product. when u pay that much money, u shouldnt feel scammed.
so cards are being cut out and yet it is still more expansive ?
people are taking the bait here cause of the extra chances for rares / mythics ? it is sill a way to sell cardboard for a higher price. (i mean it would be higher by just cutting cards, but they still had to increase the price... tse, i believe some day i stop playn magic not because the game sucks, but the wizards, by trying to fool everyone)
and who needs art cards ? thats like less worth than a common, since u cant play it. u wanna make a booster for people who dont draft by adding a useless card ??? what logic is that ?
they have put dark depths and vampire hexmage in one set and expect us to believe it is draftable ?
to me this artifact masters is super boring (never seen such a boring set, ultimate masters was way better as a reprint set and that one really was fun to draft)
i know they said, they used stuff from "artifact masters" they had started to develope
but the more and more spoilers we get, it feels more and more like they just took "artifact masters"
it was probably more like "we cant get a full reprint set of artifacts people will pay the extra dollar for" ... "ok, lets fill it up and call it double masters"
an tree in autumn (which kind of means he is about to die, sort of) is growing new plants (like sacrificing himself for the next generation)
this is totally fitting crop rotation. u sacrifice an old land to get a new one. art is perfectly fitting
EDIT:
lol nevermind. i was just reading the flavor text which is exactly the same what i just descriped
like really, i think this is so funny with how much boldliness they annouce such a card as buy a box promo for an upper expansive premium product. to funny. i would pay wizards if they stream a meeting where the make this decision. best comedy of 2020
when they announce a product like VIP edition saying, you get 2 showcase rares / mythics and than they just label a common or uncommon as a rare, just for the purpose of it being rare, is that a scam or is it ok (arguing the card is not as often printed as the common version)... just wondering with all these showcase common rares
i mean, would an alternate art grizzly bears with a mythic stamp count as mythic ???
viewing this set as a draft set seems so wrong.
not many booster of this will be drafted. i think most will be cracked for the reprints... cause it is a reprint set.
the upshift makes no sense. u just see that they developed an artifact masters before and that they use these "development" blueprints now in double masters

with cards like this it seems their thought was "draft this box ? lol why, its for whales to just open it... we only want money, why add utility?"
