I do believe you are wrong here, genesys. I don't remember off hand who exactly designed the card (though I do know it was one of the Asian dudes), but I remember that it was submitted under the name "Unluckyman's Paradise". The card as submitted, I believe, didn't require the removal of a card in your hand, but otherwise it was printed as submitted. I think that it was the card that required the least amount of changing of any other Invitational card.
This article is correct about Delay and Guile. They are not trying to replace the same event so rule 419.6d does not apply, like that other rules column says it does.
, Discard a card: Copy three instant cards chosen at random. You may play one of the copies without paying its mana cost.

Call me out-of-the-loop, but it looks like Weatherlight creature types got overhauled as well as the Master of Arms Oracle text.
Did this update happen when Gatherer got updated for Future Sight, or was this done earlier in anticipation of MTGO 3.0?
They made some erratas for the release of Mirage and Visions on MTGO, like Crypt Cobra and Sabertooth Cobra becoming snakes, and substance. They're probably preparing for Weatherlight's online debut.
Looks like Maro put a lot of time into his answers. Basically a bonus Making Magic article that he doesn't get paid for. Thanks to you Maro if you're reading this.
After spending some time looking at betrayers, a red green deck with Iwamori, the other cards mentioned earlier, and maybe some arcane support for Ire of Kaminari looks like the best option to me(Maybe because I got whooped by so many Ire of Kaminari decks in the MTGO casual room when it was standard legal). Also seems like there's a bunch of good blue fliers(along with Ninja of the Deep Hours). I'd like to see someone try a lockdown deck with Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker and Kami of False Hope.
Also when I said "If with all the artifact hate it has, Alliances can't beat Darksteel, then I can't imagine anything else in this group beating it.", emphasis should be on the words "in this group".
Black shouldn't just get Wrath from the flavor perspective, and I agree that you could justify anything for any color for flavor reasons. Black is supposed to be the king of creature removal, and that fact comes right from R&D's mouth(which is named Mark Rosewater):
From In The Black:
"Black uses whatever tools are available. Death, disease, madness. Nothing is off limits to black. Mechanically, this is what makes black king of destruction (of living things) and discard."
I can't see how it makes any sense at all that the color that is supposedly the best at destroying creatures doesn't get the best creature destruction spell. It would be like blue not having the best counterspell. It would be like white not having the best efficient weenie. It would be like red not having best burn spell. It would be like green not getting the best fatty.
As for black giving something up(or at least being second best at it) to make up for it getting wrath, I feel that Resurrection type effects fit better in white. It fits with white's theme of protecting its creatures. It also conflicts with black being the color that sacrifices creatures for its own benefit rather than helping them stay alive. I know black gets a lot of regeneration, but that's just because it has been grandfathered in from old flavor reasons. Revered Dead anyone?
Wrath of God isn't even in the right color. Maro tried to explain why Wrath is white because of its "reliance on equality"(here). That was also the rational for Armageddon being white, and that effect was correctly moved to red. White is also the color that does the most to protect its creatures with things like damage prevention and protection. White doesn't even want to destroy its opponent's creatures, it would rather make them not able(faith's fetters, cage of hands) or not willing(swords to plowshares, pacifism) to fight.
From the authors' description of a vengeful and angry god, you might think wrath should be red, the color of both vengeance and anger.
So what color trades anything to gain an advantage? What color makes you laugh at someone who says it's supposed to be the best at destroying creatures because white has wrath? Wrath should have always been black. Black's mana symbol is a skull. It's the color of death. Why should the color of death be second best at destroying creatures?
Vote Damnation for Tenth Edition, if you could that is.
I agree that "make it a 0/1!" has been shifted to blue lately, which might be what Seds meant when he said it's "in flavour".
That doesn't mean I agree with Wizards' on that, though. To me, that's white. Blue shouldn't get power reduction. Dizzy Spell has a blue name but doesn't "feel" blue to me.
It seems extremely redundent to me for a color that is the best at damage prevention would also get -X/-0 effects. IMO blue is manipulating and likes to do just enough to take away its attacker's potency.
Just wanted to point out some interesting stuff. Theres 224 Creatures, 18 sorceries and 33 instants. Thats alot of Critters. Sounds like a really good limited expansion.
EDIT: My bad. did'nt take target creature into account.
Don't forget creature enchantments. I'm disappointed about storm=0, and I guess 3 more merfolk is enough for a merfolk deck.
They also made Gemstone Caverns legendary.
Turn 1: Play Treefolk Harbinger for Treefolk Harbinger.
Turn 2: Play Treefolk Harbinger for Doran, the Siege Tower. Drop Vivid land or Terramorphic Expanse or play BoP.
Turn 3: Play Doran, the Siege Tower, attack for 6.
It seems like you didn't put Smokebraider in the elemental deck just to be different, which seems a little dumb to me.
Also, I'm really not looking forward to playing against Boggart Shenanigans. At least I don't play Extended.

Loved Joyd's blob question.

Go Ice Age!
And if I had Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth and Life and Limb all my Saprolings would be Saproling Swamp Forest lands, correct?
Nitpick:

Finally standard BDW will have a red creature.
