Temur Sabertooth and Hornet Queen definitely seems like a combo for a devotion deck... tap Nykthos while the Hornet is still in play... bounce and redrop the Queen.
I like Shu Yun as a creature that becomes a trigger for ferocious as soon as you cast say a Stubborn Denial or Crater's Claws. I just wish he wasn't legendary. I always find figuring out how many of a legend I want to make space for to be a lot trickier than figuring out how many of any other type of card I'm going to run since a second one is usually a dead card.
I would have to say no because the text for heroic is that it triggers when a spell targets the creature. The enchantment itself triggers it, but the +1/+1 counter is an effect triggered by the enchantment entering the battlefield, not a second spell.
One thing I've noted is that a lot of people are talking about playing Temur Sabertooth and how it solves the problem of an opponent wiping the board. Has anyone considered the possibility of using it to wipe the board using it with Arcbond?
edit: Which I especially like against tokens so maybe arcbond in the sideboard?
Thanks. I wasn't aware of Void Snare because I actually just started playing again recently after a long hiatus and kinda came back in with Khans and picked up a lot of the Theros block stuff. I really like Aetherspouts for the way it gets around the color protection but it's not very viable at 5 cmc.
I've tried a few of the different Temur builds as well as a few of my own blends. Even incorporating a lot in the sideboard specifically for dealing with Heroic decks I'm finding myself time and time again losing to it usually winning 1 game if any at all. What helps Temur vs Heroic?
