I was running a build similar to memorylapse on mws last night
I find Boros Signet a little bit underwhelming. I'd rather draw land consistently than have these sitting out. I'm thinking of dropping them for 2 additional land and 2 Ratchet Bomb
I haven't tested it yet, but Norn's Annex may be a good one of in place of a Ghostly Prison. Any thoughts on this?
This deck is very upsetting to a large chunk of the current meta but I think it's still a little clunky. It definitely has a lot of potential and I'm having fun playing it.
The last Standard deck I played was UWRSuperfriends and getting back into standard now, I was wondering what people thought of the GBWJunkWalkers / Tokens deck in Developing Standard. I like to win, but fun is important too. Does this deck have some longevity to it? I don't want to invest in anything that will be rotating soon.
I'd also like some thoughts on French Rites. Reanimation sounds fun, but again I am looking for something that will be around for a little while so I can get my money's worth and get back into standard. Thanks!
Personally, I don't like this list as much as the one already posted here. I think Ratchet Bomb is a good substitute for Engineered Explosives but I'm new to Modern so please explain to me why I'm wrong if you feel I am.
Shackles is just pure awesome and I'm glad I picked up 4 when I did. I also think that there should definitely be at least 1 Academy Ruins for recursion purposes.
The manabase in Conley's version along with the sideboard seems pretty good at dealing with things, especially Tron, Zoo, and the like with the 3 copies of Blood Moon.
I also think Threads of Disloyalty should be discussed. This card is crazy powerful in Modern. Considering 4 Shackles main deck it might be overkill but I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts on it.
Newer version. Sometimes it explodes with ramp and gets a Kozilek on turn 4, sometimes it takes a couple extra turns.
I'd defintely like to get some removal in there or some sort of extra draw effect. Amulet of Vigor is nice, but I'm not sure if it's really nessecary. It can be make for super fast games when I have 9 mana minimum on turn 3 but the artifact ramp in here almost makes them seem like I don't need them. So there's a theoretical 4 open card slots in here right now. I'd like to either add Lux Cannon or maybe go back to my idea of running some of the Towers just to make the deck a bit more fun. Suggestions welcome!
