zhur-taa druid plus keen sense in a multiplayer game. Would this draw you a card for each opponent?

I haven't posted much on these forums, but thought I'd share my idea for YMTC and see if it seems like a possibility.

    Psychic Vampirism (Cost)
    Enchantment

When ~ enters the battlefield, target opponent reveals hand and you choose a nonland card from it. Exile that card.
Whenever a source you control deals damage to that player, put that many thought counters on ~.
Remove counters a number of counters equal to converted mana cost of the exiled card and sacrifice ~: You may cast the exiled card without paying its mana cost.

Basically my thoughts are that since Sorin's ultimate is like a mindslaver, this is on color as a one use mindslaver.

I didn't put any costs on the card yet, but my thoughts would be something around :1mana::symb::symb:.

Is this playable/something you would use?

  • posted a message on Eye of the Storm and Hive Mind
Ok.. my brain is starting to hurt, but I believe I understand how these two enchantments interact. Please let me know if I'm right.

Say my opponent (player A) has both hive mind and eye of the storm in play in a 3 player game. I am player B and there is also a player C.

If player B casts a lightning bolt, both hive mind and eye of the storm trigger. Since player A controls both effects, he chooses which order they resolve in.

If he chooses eye of the storm to be put on the stack first, then hive mind, then the hive mind resolves first. So.. first Player A and C gets to copy lightning bolt. Eye of the storm won't trigger off of those because they are not played and also they are not cards. Lets say everyone passess priority and the bolts resolve. Then the eye of the storm's ability resolved and Player B's bolt gets exiled, and he can copy each spell under eye of the storm (let's say bolt is the only one so far). If he chooses to do so, then hive mind triggers again, since eye of the storm specifically says to cast it, and hive mind doesn't care that it's not a card. So player A and C both get an additional copy. After that, nothing else happens, since neither enchantment has anything to trigger off of.

If he chooses hive mind to be put on the stack first, thus making eye of the storm resolve first, the results are pretty much the same in the end it seems.

Let me know if I figured this out correctly. Now it seems it gets infinitely more complex the more spells are under eye of the storm, but I think I can figure it out if I got the part above correct.

I think I'm missing something. How does Twiddle let you do that?

I'm guessing he means if you had 4 of them in your opening hand

    Edit: 'nathed!

  • posted a message on Possible WUBRG Card with Phyrexian Mana?
I don't think they would print a card like this, not for power concerns (although that could also be a reason) but because of color-blindness. WotC has mentioned somewhere (I believe it was MaRo) that they are aware of the problems Phyrexian mana causes with color-blindness, which is why all of the cards have reminder text spelling out exactly what it can be paid for with. However, with multiple differently colored mana symbols, this becomes incredibly more difficult to spell out in reminder text, due to all the symbols looking the same to someone who is color-blind. Even just a card that costs :sympu::sympg: would have to be spelled out as (:sympu::sympg: can be paid with either :symu::symg:, or blue mana and 2 life, or green mana and 2 life, or 4 life). That would be pretty hefty text on a :sympw::sympu::sympb::sympr::sympg: spell.

Nobody does. If the game enters an infinite involuntary loop that nobody can stop [or nobody DOES stop, rather], the game ends in a draw, because it would just keep going on forever. That game is marked as a draw, and all players will simply begin a new game.

would anyone be able to stop it? What I mean is, isn't the game at this point in the middle of the resolution of the grindstone's ability, so no one would recieve priority to do anything, even if they could?

Just wanna make sure I understand how it works.

A band I just discovered is Allegaeon. I'm not good with genre's, so not sure if you'd consider them MDM or not, but they're pretty awesome.

A lot of good bands on here and many I've not heard, so I'm gonna check some of these out!

-Currently, and this is just IMHO [and I haven't seen Phineas and Ferb :/], the best cartoon is Adventure Time. That show is AWESOME. :).

This. I love adventure time, any time I watch it I wonder if kids really get this show?

I voted for Futurama, IMO the best animated show. I can watch any episode any time and get a laugh.

    Worst movie ending?
    Repo Men
so it turns out that the last half of the movie never actually happend, because it was part of a virtual reality and jude law is in coma? WTF? Just when he starts kicking ass. I don't always mind that type of ending, but in this movie it just seemed uneccessary. If they would have cut out the last 5 minutes, I would have enjoyed the movie, but that just ruined the whole thing for me...

what if it was: "Whenver an equipment enters the battlefield under your control, put a 0/0 germ token onto the battlefield under your control."

You could also add: "and attach that equipment to it." This would have the added benefit of effectivly giving living weapon to equipment that doesn't already have it.

I have an Umbra Mystic and three runeclaw bears out. All of them have holy strength attached to them.. My opponent casts Akroma's Vengeance. Do my creatures survive, or since creatures and enchantments were both destroyed at the same time, do they all die?

Howdy all.. and yes.. I know I'm new.. so lets all be nice Smile

Anyways.. as a lover of the casual tribal format, I'm very upset they did this.. I love playing with off beat tribal decks and just having fun online, but restricting this to the standard card pool makes it much harder. I don't see why they couldn't have just separated the format out into Tribal-Classic, Tribal-Extended, and Tribal-Standard. Yes.. they would have to maintain separate banned lists for each one, but I think it would make more people happy. Then if they only chose to have tournies go off standard, at least playing casual we could play without having to constantly restart our games, when people don't read the description of our Classic game.
