    I would just take out 2 soul sisters. You don't need more than 8 cards that have this ability, and losing 2 or 3 1 drops and replacing them with 2 drops isn't that hard on the mana base.

    the reason I like RttR over Proclamation is that I have better targets with the RttR. I run the RWB version with Dark confidant, and mainboard Auriok Champion, so I'm usually bringing back either of those two, or an Ajani's Pridemate and a soul sister or two.

    Generally I'll cast it for 2, unless Norin is kicking around with a Genesis Chamber, in which case I'll be able to get 4-5 guys back usually.

    Proc will always get you three guys, no more. Id prefer the chance of getting more with Return to the Ranks

    I've had great experiences with RttR but sometimes your opponent just gets crazy draws and it can't even help you.

    In the last tournament that I was in I played 2 dark confidants and an Ajani's pridemate and each creature died to a Bolt, luckily I played RttR for 3 and got them all back. in my apparent moment of triumph my opponent dropped an Izzet Statiscaster for the Bobs followed by a terminate for the Pridemate and then Tasigur. Sometimes the gods of luck just poop all over you.

    how has Mogis worked for you? At fist glance he doesn't seem very good in this deck, your opponent can just sac Myr tokens to him, or their worthless creatures. I'm surprised that you're not running Ranger of Eos or Dark Confidant or Mentor of the Meek, do you run out of gas quickly? I feel like you don't have a lot of ways to gain card advantage with this build, I highly recommend running at least 2 Kolaghan's Command and at least 1 Return to the Ranks. RttR can be insane in this deck, i've come back from terrible matches if I manage to resolve a RttR tageting an Ajani's Pridemate and 2 soul sisters, that play gains you 4 life and the Pridemate is instantly a 6/6

    I've really resisted running lingering souls in this deck, i feel like it just doesn't match up well with the Genesis Chamber and Champion of the Parish. Intangible Virtue just seems bad if you're not running Lingering Souls.

    is anyone else really excited about Flameshadow Conjuring? its a little like spirit bonds but in our deck its waaaay better. imagine paying 2 for a Champion of the parish, the original would instantly become a 2/2. or getting two Rangers of Eos? or having a soul sister in play and the casting an Ajani's Pridemate - first pridemate would become a 4/4 and the token would be a 3/3 haste!

    it seems very strong to me and may even compete for my Purphoros slot. what are your thoughts?

    I would consider running 1 P&K, seems pretty good in the deck. gives you 3 etb triggers for your sisters, still triggers CoP and will get you a myr token.

    I like that it can fling your myr tokens or even your genesis chamber in a pinch.

    I somewhat agree with Izzetmage that it's not better than Ranger or Purphoros, but i'd say it seems on par with them. it gives you an immediate prsence where the other two 4 drops don't necessarily help you when they hit the board. it give you two flyers, which this deck sorely lacks. I think it deserves some testing

    Has anyone tried aether vial in this deck? Is it necessary or would it just be clunky? Could free up mana for more mentor triggers or purphoros Triggers.

    The reason I stopped using impact tremors was because I found it was almost worthless to play early in the game before putting down a genesis chamber and I would much rather be putting down a Purphorus in the late game to close things out quickly. It was an awkward card a 2cmc, as I usually wanted to drop 2 creatures, or a Pridmate turn 2 to have some board presence. Also, I feel like devoting more than 2 slots in the mainboard to cards like Purphoros and Impact tremors is just too much on the deck, and if I'm only going to have 2 I'd rather it be the God than tremors.

    when I was running black my manabase was almost identical, except I didn't have cavern of souls. It never gave me any problems except when a bloodmoon came down.

    it doesn't cut of Genesis Chamber, my bad, I was forgetting that it sacs the highest power. I thought they could sacrifice the token. So its not bad, but the non-creature thing is a good point, you don't want to run to many or the soul sisters are just worthless.

    I really like running Dark Confidant in this deck, but i feel like the only cards we really gain from adding black are Bob and maybe zealous persecution for the board, and overall I'm not sure if their worth it.

    My biggest problem these days is all of the red deck wins in my meta

    Impact tremors is a trap. Trust me. It's no good. One damage is no Good. Every time you want to draw it you wished it was purphorous. Lingering souls is no good in this deck and if you run crackling doom you can't run genesis chamber. I've been working on a version that splashes black and it just doesn't seem as powerful as the two colour version

    I took a look at recent posts from all the top tier decks and only burn and affinity play seem to play torpor and usually 1 or 2 copies.

    I think its mainly a meta call on your part. I've seen a lot of Norin decks run 2 wear // tear and maybe a shatterstorm or shattering spree, so 3 ant-artifact cards. I was thinking of adding a 1 or 2 ingot chewers to my sideboard but of course they wouldn't help you against the orb.

    I think it's worse than ranger of eos. for 4 mana rangrr of eos gets you a 3/2 and two guys of your choice. If you cast commune with lava for 4 you draw two random cards for a turn. it's only better if you can cast it for a lot more. If you're going to run it I'd only recommend 1 copy, you really only want it late game when you have a lot of mana, and I feel like you would want a smaller number of 4 drops in a deck with commune
