sadly there isn't 4 multicolored slots for God-Eternal X on multicolor part of the number crunch. There are slots on artifacts and on each respective color of their past selfs
We don’t even know if that’s what their cards are called
The poster with the names didn’t have the card names just the characters
While true, God Eternal could very easily be their names, as they were never called that elsewhere, iirc.
I was thinking, too, since The Scarab God revolved around -1/-1 counters, it would be cool if one of the God Eternals also did, just because it'd be fun with proliferate.
Actually not that it matters
“Kefnet...” “oketra...” “The...” all impossible in the number crunch in multi color so the scarab god is logically impossible for reprint in this set
“Eternal...” has 3 open but not a 4th
“God...” only has 2 slots
The only factor not being put into play is that it could be a mix of the two some multicolor some mono
D'oh. I meant The Scorpion God, not that it matters, but I didn't say I hope he'd be in the set, either. I just meant I was HOPING for one of the 4 resurrected Gods to interact with -1/-1 counters.
I like it. 6 power for 5 mana. If you give him trample hes kind of a house. Since we are seeing more of these "opposite-of-menace" creatures, you think they'll eventually keyword it? Nuisance?
This ability will not be keyworded because green isn't in dire need for a keyworded, evergreen ability. They had to come up with Intimidate, Prowess, and Menace because red commons needed some pretty badly.
Well, Intimidate is also because they had mentioned something about not wanting to have Fear be a Black-only ability, anymore.

They wen't longer with Menace before keywording it. All the way from Fallen Empires. (Goblin War Drums)
True, but as far as we know they also aren't actively searching to replace a G/x keyword the same way they were trying to replace fear / intimidate with menace.
If you're looking to speculate about a new evergreen keyword, I think your best shot is trying to guess what prowess's replacement will be.
I agree that it isn't necessary, but it makes the cards look cleaner than having a sentence of text on every card that has the same ability.

So, how does Massacre Girl's ability work when multiple creatures die at the same time? Say three x/1 tokens die when she enters, triggering the second part of her ability. Would all other creatures get -3/-3 or -1/-1? Asking because I know it could be a point of contention.
My initial guess would be a single trigger..... as it's whenever a creature dies instead of each creature that dies.
I'm sure we'll get the clarification in the Rules update for the set.
Usually, if this was the case, the effect would read: one or more creatures. Since it says a creature, it will create multiple instances.
I think I'm reading it right, Massacre Girl only triggers the whole paragraph of death there when she enters the battlefield and is depending on something dying to the first -1/-1 to trigger additional -1/-1's and additional deaths after that. the second part of getting -1/-1 when something dies is not a static affect, correct? Still, crazy card and as was mentioned you can guarantee and easy kill with Footlight Fiends or similar...I'll have to sift through to see what other creatures have the same power as the Fiend.
It reads the same as way as Cry of the Carnarium which sets up a trigger for the remainder of the turn. So even if a creature dies later in the turn, it will trigger, again.
Lol. Nice. Except Massacre Girl only hits creatures and is only 1 turn. Not like Last Laugh. Try again, thanks.
And? The point is, effects like this have existed within Magic for a decade longer than Hearthstone has even existed.
Calling people kids because they reference a card from another game is asinine. Especially since the card referenced has a more similar effect that Last Laugh, is much more used in it's game than Last Laugh ever was, and is much more recent than Last Laugh.
Jaya fans should be salty though she has got dead written all over her and WOTC wont let her get a good card cause it upstage Chandra.
As a Jaya fan, I can say I love her PW card. The power is there. She's great. The problem is the Standard environment she exists in. Big Red hasn't been a great archetype in many, many years. I mean last time I really had fun with it in Standard (and it was able to hold its own against T1 decks) was when I ran a playset of Arc-Slogger. Jaya's ability to triple rummage is great. Her ult is game-winning. I often use her mana ability for Fight with Fire or Electrodominance (which is like playing two spells for the price of one, even on my turn). I do well with her, despite the environment being bad for her. I think she's fun and very Jaya-ish. I'm a fan.

Hilarious how the image has been watermarked, like they were saying "our original spoiler! Do not steal!" that's pathetic.
It makes sense when translating foreign cards. The foreign card is below it. Lets you know its not the official translation, and could be a little bit off.

My two cents: I really like this card. Being able to get back a PW I dumped earlier or one that died to a Plaguecrafter or something, along with a creature seems really good for 2. Especially since I like to play decks with Glowspore Shaman and Stitcher's Supplier.
I love UG utility cards. This seems great. Makes toolbox much better since Prime Speaker Vannifar doesn't always survive. This comes down earlier, and can even turn a 3 drop into Vannifar, making her a 3/5 and thus out of Lava Coil range. This might actually make Vannifar much better in Standard.
We are one good sac outlet away from a good aristocrats deck in standard again. Cruel Celebrant, Judith, this guy (maybe, he's kind of expensive), Hero of Precinct One, Hunted Witness. So close.
If we do, I feel like the Orzhov and Golgari will be running the place. 'Cuz err body dead.

Nice. Thanks for the knowledge. Interesting to see this guy stalking, amirite?

I was just thinking of the EDH decks I currently play, and my UG Lands Matters deck with Azusa, Lost but Seeking, Wayward Swordtooth, Crucible of Worlds, Ramunap Excavator, Scapeshift, Clear the Land, Splendid Reclamation, Harvest Season, Tatyova, Benthic Druid, and Burgeoning is gonna abuse this so hard. I already get insane value playing a Myriad Landscape multiple times in a turn. As long as you can keep your Amulet of Vigor around, it's chaos. Imagine with this guy and all my PW's out, as well. Sick!

Just cut lands. Arena will make sure you draw 'em, anyways.
Don't forget Grim Initiate! We basically have two Hunted Witness in Standard.
EDIT: Wow! Can't believe Grim Initiate hasn't been added to the DB, yet. He was spoiled 3 days ago.
He's a 1/1 First Strike for R with Amass 1 as a death trigger.
