I just don't believe $70 cards at rare is ever happening, even with the raised MSRP.
Also, why are we treating this guy's word like law? He called it on the first MM. Cool. What's there to confirm he's right again?
If that list is real, which it looks quite plausible, the last 2 mythics would probably be Cryptic Command and Noble Hierarch to get upgraded from rare. If cards like that end up at rare, sell prices would skyrocket.
Is Outpost Siege more than just a worse Phyrexian Arena? You could, I guess, do some shenanigans with the Dragons mode, but it seems so inefficient.
Ah well. On to green.
It's also worth building your creaturebase around Birthing Pod and Survival of the Fittest- they dump creatures into the gravetyard to feed Tas, and they also synergize with his ability. DRS and Life from Loam are also the nuts.
This was kind of a letdown- I like the way that they tied up some of the time- paradoxes, but it felt like a very rushed way to keep the planeswalkers on Tarkir, doing vague tasks, in order to make everything all neat and tidy until we get back to the plane.
Imma +1 Mob Rule and Volcanic Offering.
I always wanted to be able to cascade into Insurrection with Maelstrom Wanderer. I tried out Mob Rule and it was great- either it stole all the trampling stuff that really matters, or it took care of the one guy with the token army.
Volcanic Offering is one of the only acceptable LD options in my playgroup, and as such I've grown fond of it.
There aren't any GP's close to me this season, but the SCG Open Series is coming by my area. Are most of the things in this still true for the SCG open?
At first glance it looks like I have a good matchup against the green decks, but they all have a way to stop me, at least on the play.
