I realize that. Kira is especially hurtful to them and cheap for you. It allows you to keep your answers back to deal with their answers to portcullis and the unexpected. You will be running a control build already and anything that can keep your creatures on the board to make portcullis do its work is worth your time. Give Kira a chance!

Why has Terravore not come up as an alternate finisher? Maybe just 2 so it doesn't overshadow your deck's main wincon. Worm Harvest could stand out as well instead of Terravore.
Agree to remove disciples. They are great, but move us into a different style of deck and take the focus off the demon.
Vote down Rigger. They dont have evasion or power when they hit and require more work to get there. Not something we want to see too much, especially early on.
Dropping 2 capsules. Great asset. Not so great restriction. Better removal is out there.

Not much to report here except a disappointing lack of a black commander deck my wife hinted at under my tree. Was hoping for one since my mtg budget has been lacking this year.

You know what i like here? Either Killing Wave or Gaze of Granite. With heartbeat, either card can really clear a board after dropping the bridge. The gaze seems superior as it removes Heartbeat and keeps our opponent from just dropping their hand afterward.

I would like to raise loaming shaman to 3 because we really need to draw it and not rely on recursion to get one.
It seems we have stalled on where to go now. I would love to vote and cut to make some room so we don't go to cutting too quickly, but I have already voted for the cards I would drop to make a difference. And the deck still feels unfinished for the adding phase!
Children of Korlis or Tainted Sigil come to mind but require the damage be dealt first which could be problematic.
