I agree Ram, that mask is something...

    Something before i go.... Wink

    1) Karn is now being controlled by Phyrexian artifacts, or even someone of Phyrexian nature. He also may be Glacian or Urza, but that's an old theory.

    2) Myoujin will live through FS and be more powerful in the end than at the start, where i think she is much more powerful than anyone realizes.

    3) Sparks will be lost, but Bolas will survive sparkless (or Leshrac, im betting on him though ;)). Jeska may or may not as well, and perhaps Karn in a moment of self-control will close the Zhalfirin rift-- to not be a Planeswalker puppet if he has to be a puppet at all.

    4) Teferi will either die or go into seclusion.

    5) Dominaria is destroyed, or reshaped into a new plane

I'll miss the debating guys. I'll be watching, and i'll have comments sent in from time to time.

    Ixidorsdreams--

Hadn't ever seen an episode of Six Feet Under a day in my life, but i'll be damned if i didn't hit HBO when Claire started driving away from the front of that house. I stopped to see, and what i saw was the most powerful montage ever.

ANd i am a fan of montages. Mikey said it well though-- everything ends and the show stated it perfectly. Though tear-jerking it was.

Who knows really. The thought that closing the remaining rifts could be done by merging the connecting planes (Ravnica likely, Kamigawa surely-- Mirrodin even?) and even creating Lorwyn or a seperate new, sun-like plane to be the center of the multiverse.

Ramenth- the idea of this is not like Apocalypse. That had Dominaria becoming Phyrexia, not being obliterated. Sure the Karona incident is comparable, however I think it was within the realm of handling (Karn and Kamahl+ Sash and Waistcoat was enough after all).

So far, this has taken the powers of one, completely destroyed one, and vanquished another planeswalker(s). When in recent storyline memory has that happened other then the quick add-on in Apocalypse with the 9 titans? That built towards nothing really, there's a big difference here I think.

We shall see, almost a month away!

  • posted a message on Wrath of God not reprinted in 10th? What white card will replace it?
I read through the first page, and pretty much have the argument settled at this point.

Damnation will be out while 10th is still in for Lorwyn block + Rock block. Therefore, a creature sweeper is needed-- the logical choice would be Final Judgement, as they're always going to be lacking Kamigawa cards in the Core Set due to....crappiness?

Unless they reprint Mutilate in black and try to make B the main sweep removal color, expect Akromas Vengeance. Cycling is confirmed for Core Set, and there isn't much in the way of multiple sweep spells right now (pretty much just Plague Boiler).

Ramenth- Shady and I had a similar discussion, but the endgame came to this: anything that is infinite is unexplored and therefore can't be proven infinite. With the plausibility that the multiverse actually has an end (which would mesh well with the Crystal Shard idea from a seperate WoTC entity/game/world), Dominaria constantly being referred to as the jewel, the center and the most important plane of the multiverse would make sense.

And so would it that its destruction would mean the destruction of Dominia.

I definately called who died though, midway through the show!

I'm just really glad it wasnt HRG. I like him too much for him to just be killed off like that, you know?

Also, this show has given me a new appreciation for the plot of X-Men. This could become a reality in the evolutionary chain one day (psychics are known to exist already).

Yukora- Of course i knew, i was waiting to see how long i could make you sweat. I guess not long :p

Also- saw Hot Fuzz. Excellent movie, although i like Shaun of the Dead better.

I also know nothing about Extended format, but I can chime in with this--

Luis, that sounds like a ringing "Extirpate is he l33t!" endorsement Wink I can say that I do like your deck though, and I can't say that for many Ext decks.

Anyways, since Morwen was kind enough to Private Message me about Project Mayhem, seniority, and not talking back to Mr. Bloody Minded on his last post-- i'll be quitting this clan. Mind you it's not at all because of the people (become friends with CharlieD, Iceman, votan, Janus, feuerdrache, i could keep going...), mostly, as i've enjoyed posting with all of you. Maybe the GA's way of posting/clanning is a bit different then here, and that's what i'm accustomed to--

And I know that this clan doesn't want any drama on the thread (clearly pointed out by Morwen's private message), so i'll be off then!

Posting here would be rather pointless if i'm leaving, so you can find me at the Greek Alliance (pretty much always post there regardless of anything).

    Cheers Smile

I guess you kinda forfeit to GR LD or UR wildfires, huh?

Gotta have a gameplan for that.

Otherwise, fun MONOB control deck w/tron.

Um..Hot Fuzz came out? *runs off to torrent site*

Morwen and Bloody Minded-- That's fine, post when you need to, no one can force you-- though again i don't know why you'd be in a clan and not post in it

There is stuff going on and said daily, so if you mean to say "if i have nothing to say about myself or my life, i don't post" than that's different, but I know i post here pretty much daily about something or another worth commenting on (movies, music, t2, sports, anime, Wii, etc.)

Quote from Planar Chaos, page 50 »
He has not ascended to planeswalker status as others did, through an essential, innate spark that flared under duress, but he had ascended and was functionally identical to (if not more powerful than) other, more organic godlike beings.

This quote says two things. One being that a spark is essential in ascending to planeswalker status. Secondly, it points out the fact his spark is not innate, so it is someone elses.

It only opens up the quetion of whos spark it is. He is more powerful because he has a mana source inside him and the infinite energies that come with spark/ascension.

And he can timewalk (which i said he could do more easily since he is a planeswalker now) because he is a silver golem, and he can now resist the temporal heat of travel.

My post wasn't hype at all, though i dare you to say we have one conversation on MSN any day without heated argument :p

That quote aludes it's an old plane, not the oldest. It would say "oldest plane". Furthermore, you can't prove it is from Dominia. It just wouldn't make sense if Dominaria was the center of the multiverse AFTER its creation.

Unless there is some crazy MTG origins of Dominia storyline/block we haven't hit yet, but I w ouldn't hold my breath :p

Firstly-- you didn't quote anything, just rambled. Quote the physics of the universe as stated in Planeswalker, and then i'll shut up.

Secondly-- i'm talking about the physics of the Multiverse. Even in Time Spiral they say "If DOminaria dies, the universe is finished", so yes-- the sun example is correct.

Thirdly-- Pwnt chillpill But seriously Shady-- Chill out for real man. That MSN convo was wayyy too hype, and you haven't even read Time Spiral yet to acknowledge i'm not lying.

Shady- That's essentially like saying the Sun gets replaced in the Solar System with something else when it dies, which isn't true. The gravitational pull is gone, and therefore the system is destroyed.

Dominaria is the equivilent to the Sun, as the center of Dominaria. If it dies, the multiverse dies.

Which would mean if Equilor was ever the center, and died-- theoretically-- so should the Multiverse have.

Iceman- It's just that well....no one seems to feel obligated to post here I guess. I mean I used to be in the G.A, and if nothing else-- you'd at least leave a comment on another post. I'm not accustomed to this kind of inactivity.

It's pretty lame if you ask me, as I see no point in being a part of a clan you're not going to post in regularly. Be a friend if you can't make it in to post twice a week :p

    That's my 2cents.

First off- have I made you sweat enough yet, Yukora? Kekeke

Welcome to Dantes Flaming Comedy Club. Flaming cuz we're gay, gay because we're happy Wink

Secondly-- Heroes has been A-MA-ZING thus far tonight. This is the best episode EVER. By a good margin really. And 40 minutes through, my guess on who dies is....WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD for Episode 18. Don't read if u didn't watch, as I'm through all but the last 5 mins.

Simone-- She's threatening to expose them all (says she to Nathan) to find and save Peter.

Furthermore, HiRo has a new ability! He reversed the shot bullet, literally as if turning the clock back just seconds!! While also knocking her backwards. Interesting...and of course, it was by nature of death-- not on call :p

And they're seriously copping out big right now if the SuperHearing girl is the only one to die. Suddenly, it seems like HRG (obvious choice) is indeed gone.

Guess that means Haitian will have a greater role. I can't wait to find out the Gov's involvement and why Claude fears them so much (HRG's group).

Edit- to find out who died...
I was right, would you expect less from a prophet? Wink But not by Nathan's hand, instead-- angry Peter vs murderous Isaac ends up with a shot Simone. Frown I liked her, but she did feel verrrry add-on for an ensemble cast.

But Ted, Matt, and Frequency to invade the Bennett for a good old fashioned hostage situation (all of them). I bet you after HRG bares all for them, Claire ends up joining Ted's crew Smile

Heroes is so awesome, and next week it gets better- The Departed tv show comes on at 10 right after it *glee*

Anyways, t2 is officially PC legal tomorrow. I'm so excited, I can't wait for some official results regarding my favorite regular archtypes (BW and UB) and my Stuffy Doll BR deck.

If I work the control match-up out (tutorable Boiling Seas in the board is a start, Imp's Mischief isn't that bad), I think it's a definite win vs. Aggro and non U control. Especially in Game 1.
