Heh, Grim Reminder punishes Netdecking. Chimney Imp, on the other hand, punishes... umm... Thought Lash-Go? It gets my vote easily. Why would you play this with Chittering Rats in the format with ever advantage but evasion?
Because Chittering Rats doesn't work as well in the Debtors' Knell+Imp+Sacrificer combo.
(I still vote for the Imp, of course)
Thanks a lot Azerbaijan that really helps. So the best one for me, a noob on a budget, to play would be Block. Since I won't have to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars to get the best cards and since I should be able to find the first Ravinica set fairly easily (Guildpact is all over here).
Standard isn't much more expensive than block, and is played much more. I have never seen a Ravnica Block tourney.
One final question about this, is each set reffered to by it's main name and sub name?
No. There is only one set called Guildpact, so it would be redundant to say "Ravnica Guildpact".
Sleeper Agent could work in this deck. It comes into play controlled by another player, and then you trade to get it back and have a bigger Carnophage.
With that many restrictions, there's not much left in the game that can actually deal that kind of damage. Couldn't you use this wording?

Enchantment
Whenever a spell or ability causes a player to lose life, each of that player's opponents gain that much life.
I don't even see what's wrong with mana burn. That only causes a problem when comboed with False Cure and when the players are at the right life totals.
Infernal Credit Card1
Artifact
Put a credit counter on ~: Add 1 to your mana pool. 1: Remove a credit counter from ~.
At the beginning of your upkeep, ~ deals damage to you equal to the number of credit counters on it.
You can't win the game and your opponents can't lose the game as long as there is a credit counter on ~.
I think they're both broken. Use Herald of Victory with Stifle and you win next turn. Tower of Scrolls wouldn't be so bad outside of 'Owling Mine. If one of those 8 cards is artifact removal, then you've set yourself back 8 cards.
There are some people who are happiest when solving problems in the world. In a perfect world, they would have to be happy, and therefore solving problems. But if those problems exist, then it wouldn't be perfect.
As Yogi Berra said, "If the world were perfect, it wouldn't be."
Suppose both players are at 20, and then you mana burn for 1. This will cause your opponent to gain 1 life. Then False Cure will trigger, taking away 2 from your opponent. Then this will trigger, and you will gain 2, and things will keep doubling in this manner.
(I still vote for the Imp, of course)

EDIT: 42nd post!
P.S. I like the hybrid artifact borders.

You --- Bob
20 ------ 19
21 ------ 19
19 ------ 19
19 ------ 21
19 ------ 17
23 ------ 17
15 ------ 17
15 ------ 25
15 ------ 9
31 ------ 9
-1 ------ 9
Then SBEs make you lose.
EDIT: I just realized that where I counted down the life totals, it was Bob that mana burned for 1.
