Quote from doc.brown »I used to toy with UG a looong time ago (before PtW) using green for explore, beast within and kiora, the crashing wave.
this nissa is very good because she does 3 things we need: scry, cheat lands in play, finisher.
we can play her turn 3 and use her for scrying/ "fogging" (one turn spent attacking her, is one turn less they spend attacking you)
we can play her when we have 8 mana ultimate right away and bash for 10
the questions we need to ask ourselves are:
are we splashing green just for her? and if yes is it worth it? possibly
are we bringing in more green cards? if yes which ones and do they actually improve the deck?
and last but MOST definitely not least, what are we cutting for these cards?
as much as explore is great, I can't see myself swapping any between serum visions/gigadrowse/exhaustion with it and even if "it's a green time walk" it's not really a time walk..
nissa...she's great, but what do you take out? you probably want to play at least 2 and i'd rule out all the interactive cards, so mines? we need the draw. the only real option would probably be playing 2 part the water veil and 2 nissa.
is taking fetches and shock lands damage worth it?
