Hoses ramp and gy strats? Sign me up. Especially ramp is just pure cancer. Any ramp hate card just actively makes this format better.

I don't want to sound rude but I looked through your lists and I think they are pretty boring. Your lists are basically just edhrec copypastas. Even your sphinx storm list is just a normal high tide list but instead of draw spells you have sphinxes. I just don't see much point in commenting on lists that are already well known on how they work and what are the best cards.

Well, you do sound rude, so maybe work on that.
I have never used EDHREC in my life, not that there's anything wrong with doing so. All of my lists have been built by hand over time. It's fine if they're not your cup of tea, but there's no need to go around calling people boring or accusing them of copying decklists. How I build decks isn't for everyone, but I like to think that I don't just follow the herd even if I do have access to more expensive cards thanks to my long history with the game.

I mean you asked why people dont comment your lists and I pointed out that maybe it's because your lists aren't that interesting. If a list resembles something that was copied from edhrec then I think most people know how the deck operates If they know how it operates then what is the point to comment? There is nothing wrong in building and playing "boring" decks. I do it too.

Isn't a week a bit too long? I think most of what people want to say can be said in one or two days. Maybe three days would be good because then the op gets to read replies and respond if they are active.

When I was invited back to these forums, I looked forward to sharing my decklists with others here. However, after posting a couple and getting minimal responses, I'm wondering what the point is. I'm proud of my decklists and have spent a fair amount of time tuning these decks, so to take the effort to post it up in the multiplayer decklist forum and receive little to no feedback is disheartening. Are people here just not interested in other folks' decklists or what?

Ramp in general is very much the easy mode of edh. You often have enough time to ramp because you have more life and aggro in general isn't played, ramp hate strategies are inconsistent and generally frowned upon and lastly you hardly "fizzle" as you always have a ramp target (your commander).

You shouldn't be too surprised if you stomp casual tables with a ramp deck. I have this suboptimal Zacama deck and can very easily win 3v1 games (I think I've only lost once or twice with the deck).

Again, the pro planeswalker crowd seems to.miss that this is a format based around legendary creatures, so any argument for allowing walkers as commanders has to not only show that the benefits outweigh the negatives, but do so significantly enough to warrant major change to the rules of the format. Nobody has been able to demonstrate this, and most people still feel that the negatives outweigh the positives.

Edh originally only had 5 legal commanders.

Aside from the power level concerns that have been discussed here, my biggest concern on this subject is how having planeswalkers as commanders would affect the length of games. Planeswalkers are all basically life gain spells, as they draw aggro away from the control and can't attack like a creature commander can. Additionally, the lines of play for a planeswalker tend to be more complex than for a creature and so that would add even more time to the game. In short, I believe that making this change would be bad for the format in terms of making games take too much longer. Commander isn't a format like standard or modern where there's a clock and a time limit. Commander goes as long as it goes, and I know that I'm always happy on days where I can get in more shorter games of Commander than days where I play fewer, longer games.

If anything making games go longer would be a positive thing. Too much of this format is defined by degenerate ramp decks that just are "non interactive oops i win" -decks.

    More stax = healthier format.

Player with the citadel does. You can't pay with something you don't have.

In the story, Ral is trying to cast a spell to give Niv-Mizzet the power of the Guildpact. That would explain the 5 colors if these are real.

But we also know he gets sabotaged by Dovin. Also the fact that it references color pairs in the card text is very strange.

Also the Bolas card uses the stained glass art that they said they weren't using for the cards.

The more I think about this the more I think these may be fake.

Lily also uses the stained glass art.
