Soo, how do you guys feel about our jund matchup?
I follow caleb and take all creatures out, but i find it soo hard to win with the "puzzle creatureless build".
Normally i win game 1 and loose the other two, not by jund making crazy things, just by me not beeing able to go off.
    Feels not good.

    Hey,

iam prepairing for a tournament. Is there a list on how to board in each matchup and the win percentage etc?
Or do i have to write it out of calebs frickel blog and put it a short list myself? Grin

Also i saw that many other decks have a pretty good read on what are there chances in each matchup, but we only have calebs blog as a source?
    I need numbers u guys!

Some Casino dice, they come in bright blue and red. For storm count an Black dice.

How is the madcap/emperion plan working for you?
Right now i play with calebs sb but i really have trouble against burn.
When do you board it in, just vs burn or are there other matchups?

So, how is the state of storm after the pro tour?
Everyone is talking about other decks, articles everywhere underestimating storm as a easy matchup.

Whats your impression, just the pt hype? Or is the "storm problem" solved?

Yeah, 4 Chalice, Contortion and call me crazy -> speading seas.
+ if you have SB Negate/Dispel or something.

For me the matchup is even 50% and the scary thing is, its never 2:0 its always a 2:1 for either side.

    Quote from mtgnorin ยป

By the way, I play eldrazi and cut chalice. Chalice time is in the past...maybe it will change again, but dont overrate it

Now we are talking, without chalice it makes more sense.
It should be about chalice or no chalice this discussion, and not about "opt".

But game 1 is the game where chalice steals games, with no sideboard hate against it.
Moving it to sb is such a terrible idea.

I just dont understand the reasoning behind running "opt", sry 1 and replacing itself.
And making some 5-0's is great, but doesnt help with that logic iam searching for.

Yeah, so for me chalice is very strong in 40% of the matchups. And often just to protect from path or some troublesome answers.

So how does that fit together with "opt".

If you write it often enough, it will become true.

Played mkm series Hamburg today, 360 player, went 6-3,a little bit bad luck at the end,but was really fun to play.

The statement that trinket into ballista gets you somewhere against burn, affinity or meerfolk is just not right.
Turn 3 trinket into ballista is so clunky your dead by then.

But i stop writing about it, maybe its just playstyle or something but i dont get behind it.

Bridge is a problem? I dont think so.

And a turn 2 ballista? I cast counter, draw, map, spatial during those turns.

I need a reason, not a "i like it" Grin

So its good vs tokens, like ugin or oblivion stone, or sb ee.
And its okay, if you have a *****ty hand and nothing to play on turn 2.

Please dont get me wrong, i will playtest ballista but at least we can discuss why its a good Option.

Yes, most of the time iam under pressure and need a big payoff that turns the match in my favour.

So i would like to hear from someone who likes and plays ballista, if its worth it.
