jenkins - i really like this decklist a lot; it has some very nice synergies, and is balanced pretty well. the one thing i would comment on would be the ratio of anti-aggro and anti-control; it almost seems to me like having porphyry nodes and wrath could be somewhat redundant...though, admittedly, i haven't put this together yet (i need the flippin' watery graves!) to test it out. otherwise, i think it looks sweet. the only thing i could think of additionally might be some tutoring to bring up the nodes, but that's about it.
maybe a few more non-counter flash/instant cards (extirpate is an excellent example) to dig up with teachings.

plague boiler hits all non-land permanents...and if you change a land into a creature, i believe the "creature" part of it counts as a non-land permanent.

at least i think so...and anyway, the land would originally have to be a forest...and that's pretty limiting.

plague boilier paired with woodwraith corrupter could be a fun and painful (though expensive) combo to blow up lots of lands.

b/g land destruction is fun, i agree with hammer.

i've also been wanting to play my set of retethers...some possibilities i've thought of:
the nice interaction between anarchist, auratog, galvanic arc...even though anarchist is off color. if you're running green, recollect or reclaim could also be nice...maybe the way this should go is with some dredge (moldervine cloaks, grave-trolls) and a few key enchantments that will basically give you the win...which is kinda what you have with the blue/green suite at the end of your list. GJ with that, i like it. copy enchantment could definitely be a fun addition.

in red, we could also add breath of fury and have double beats from a very large gatherer or enchantress type creature. how about dream leash?? i think that would be REALLY funny, combined with copy enchantment....heh.

sunforger also has nice synergy with mana tithe, btw...i remember reading an article on the wizards site that said they didn't want swift silence to be less than 5 mana, 'cause people could fetch it up with the sunforger.

my opinion on this deck in standard is that it will survive - BWG, in my opinion at least, always seems to have good, control-ish options. granted, we might have to use painlands (provided that they get reprinted in 10th...), but i think this deck will, at the least, evolve.

...or, maybe it won't. gosh i love ravnica.

O.K., so I've decided that I want to suck it up and finish my playsets of the Ravnican duals. My question is, will it be cheaper to get them once Ravnica rotates out of standard, or will the fact that it'll still be in Extended help maintain the price? I don't really care about the fact that I won't be able to use 'em for standard, they're just good to have.

    Thanks

i would reccommend wild cantor. multicolor, and a mana-fixer to boot. maybe you want to add radha, heir to keld as well, or possibly darkheart sliver. also, some card drawing would be nice, but that is hard to come by, and it would be kinda convoluted in this deck...err. best i can think of is shadowmage infiltrator. good luck

I LOVES THIS DECK! AHH! this is such an awesome concept, GJ with it. i've always wanted to use the pillar...and this seems to be an excellent use.
the only thing i can think of is this: are there any good land-searching spells in standard at the moment that would allow you to seek out your pillars? i don't know any off the top of my head; do you have trouble finding the pillars/can you play the deck well if you don't?
i support switching out the hellhole rats for loxodon hierarchs...what's the deal with the orzhov guildmages? i'm of the opinion that those guys are wretched, but maybe it's personal preference.

huh, i like dredge so much that when ravnica first came out, i bought 3 copies of golgari deathcreep...go figure.
anyway, if this deck ends up running enough non-dredgable things (arena, greenseeker, birds, skeins, etc.) reclaim (or recollect) might be a good option - to a certain extent, it could even be a toolbox "enabler", as in, dump lots of toolboxy cards into the yard, and grab 'em back up with recollect.
the more i think about it, the more i realize blue might be a worthy addition...imagining extirpate..bleh. unless we want to run dash hopes, of course. but that has yet to prove itself as an actually viable counter.

this deck screams for ghostway. this can be very fun stuff, not only creature-saving, but CIP-ability-triggering.
one thing i don't understand is why you aren't running ghost council of orzhova - it would be nice in this deck.
as for discard, i'm of the belief that if it's attached to a creature, you can never have too much.
also, maybe add some signets...it feels like this deck wants some acceleration as well as creatures. i do like how you don't really need spells, though, as the creatures you're going to be bouncing in and out cover stuff like removal, discard, bounce, gy recursion, etc.

i dont know if null profusion would be a good thing; i envision that working better in a deck with lots of mana accelerants (rite of flame, seething song) etc. and zero-cost spells...though, you wouldn't be keeping many cards in hand anyway...hm.

blue, huh. i guess compulsive research could be nice...or traumatize (haha.) and it would allow you to draw into more stuff. i like the simplicity and the redundancy of it, though, without blue.

this is fascinating...my gosh. i've always wanted to use svogthos as a win condition.

for troubles with tron, life from the loam + ghost quarter speaks to me...i agree that the hippie doesn't really belong in there; it seems like this could be even more focused and refined without him, maybe replace the specter with living end...
and finally, a deck that adequately can use delerium skeins.

my personal preference would be the factory; it makes bigger tokens, it doesn't have protection issues (not that many things are pro: white or green), and this decks has way too many other things to be doing with 4 mana than popping out a little token...but it certainly is an issue of preference.

i would say cut at least one land (preferably two) and also do away with sacred mesa; i've found that doesn't exactly jive with what this deck wants to be doing. if you have trouble with LD, throw in a sacred ground or two in your SB. with ~3 spots open, i think you could fit dash hopes in. i'm still waiting 'till i have the physical cards to try all the PC stuff, so i can't speak from experience, but i imagine i would enjoy forcing aggro players to make a decision like that.
