I'm on a pretty stock list for Abzan elves. The white is mainly for SB cards. What are our SB options vs Death's Shadow decks?

The former Abzan Company deck has been an easy MU, at least in my experience. The new Druid Combo feels faster, more consistent and better at grinding so that MU definitely got worse.

If the deck gets popular at your LGS, Anger of the Gods is a very potent sideboard option while beeing strong against other small creatures decks and Dredge too.

What's the secret? Shoot his dorks to slow him down? E-witness is a key card for him. Chords, and Coco are key as well. That decks just seems super resilient.

I was playing against a friend today who was on abzan combo. I couldn't beat it to save my life. Is this a bad matchup? Or am I just not playing against it correctly? The guy had so much value, toolbox, and recursion. Counter a collected company? Gets it back with a eternal witness. Needs a combo piece? Finds one wit chord. Counter yhe chord? Persist creatures really stretches the kill spells.

We weren't playing with SB. I have graveyard hate and EE in my SB. is abzan super hard to beat prebaord?

Is pyrite spellbomb and nihil spellbomb adequate replacements for Mishra's Bauble?

I think that's a darn good price. I think regular ones go for 40-45 USD now. Good pickup

LOTV is a bit awkward when paired with Tasigur. Her +1 everyone pitches a card, you would typically pitch your most useless card. Activate Tasigur and your opponent gives your useless card back to you. I tried it once and immediately took it out. I think Last hope is better.

Anyone try Ryan Overturf's Delver + Shadow list? It wasn't Grixis Shadow. He didn't run Street Wraith's. He just jammed Death's Shadow next to the usual Grixis Delver shell. Tweaked somethings and I think he top 8ed an SCG classic. Seems interesting.

A LGS is starting pauper and we are excited. I get the basics of pauper (all commons only). But tell me more about the game play of pauper. I come from the modern format, where it's pretty fast and there are established decks.

So tell me about pauper. Is there control? Is it generally a wide open? Do people brew more or netdeck? Etc.etc.

I want to use [card]burning tree emissary[\card]. It's an uncommon from gatecrash but is confirmed to be a common in mm2017. Can I use BTE in pauper once the set is released?

I think Unbanning Jace would be interesting. People fear it's power once it sticks. But it'll come down turn 4, turn 3 with ramp. Turn 4 in modern you need to have a solid board state ready to take the win, not ready to brainstorm.

Not sure if this was discussed but...what do you guys think about Surgical Extraction in for the burn matchup. Imagine the scenario...you take burn from bolt, the extract all their bolts from the deck. Worth it? What is the typical SB tech vs burn nowadays? I have vampiric link for now.

found my answer.

Legend has it...that back in zendikar WOTC was printing old p9 in super rarity called hidden treasures. Was this real or not? Do you know of anyone who has pulled a hidden treasure?
