Okay, so, is it just me, or is this card pretty insane? As if an 3 CMC Archaeomancer with a relevant body was not enough, he gives all your fatty vanilla Awakeners and your manlands evasion. He has a decent slew of spells to return that include a wrath, a counterspell, the format's new Hero's Downfall, a subpar draw spell and a subpar Drown in Sorrow. Yeah, there anre't that many great Awakeners, but there's enough. Also, like 40% of the set, he's also an Ally.
Now, I think this guy can make it to Constructed. What do you think? I think I can see an Esper Control deck running this.
I'd say this is not a card for the UB Control deck. It's a card for the UB Devoid/Ingest deck, which seems to be very Tempo-based. In that kind of shell, this card seems very good. Fathom Feeder and Transgress the Mind deals with the big guys, this card deals with the small ones, and all of them feed Ulamog's Nullifier, which counters everything else. They also feed Wasteland Strangler, which kills a lot ot stuff. There's currently a lot of synergy in the UB archetype, and I'd love to see where it goes.
As for the card itself, it's good. It's not going to be a Modern all-star, but I'm pretty sure it will see Standard play, at least in sideboards. If a card is good enough to see play and you keep asking for it to be better... just don't.

Next: A Nantuko (Insect), Ainok (Hound) or Rhox (Elephant) Commander.
Everyone around here misreadin' the Ulti and I'm just sitting here misreading her -2...
At first I wasn't so sure why was everyone so hype about her, then I saw creature and/or land and... yeah. Card is very very good. Really, if you manage to brick at her -2, then you're clearly playing her in the wrong deck. To top it off, her -2's synergy with Delve really shouldn't go understated. I can see some kind of UG or Sultai deck featuring Kiora here.
Her +1 seems okay-ish, and the synergy with Awaken is cute, but honestly I'm not so hot about it. Pseudo-vigilance is alright, but also somewhat situational, and without it ramping 1 mana seems hardly worth it. If there was any abuseable T effect in Standard right now, sure, and it works fine with Dragonlord Ojutai, esp. now that Hero's Downfall is being replaced by a Sorcery, but I'll have to wait and see.
Her ultimate puts 24 power on the board, wrecks the opponent's field and gives all your creatures a permanent buff. It also takes forever to trigger. High up there on the list of strongest Ultis ever, probably right below Tamiyo. Timmies rejoice.
Well, here's an old design of mine, tho it's an Aura. Not sure if what you want.
Trouble Magnet3RR
Enchantment - Aura
Enchant creature
Whenever a player casts an instant or sorcery spell that targets only one creature, if that spell could target the enchanted creature, copy that spell. That copy targets the enchanted creature.
Whenever the enchanted creature dies, its controller may return Trouble Magnet to the battlefield attached to a creature. The best thing about being the universe's plaything is that it usually doesn't lasts long.
Yawgmoth Imperfect6BBBB
Legendary Creature - Spirit Horror
At the beginning of each upkeep, put a rebirth counter on Yawgmoth Imperfect, then all opponents lose X life and all non-Horror creatures get -X/-X until end of turn, where X is the number of rebirth counters on Yawgmoth.
Whenever another creature dies, put a 2/2 black Horror creature token onto the battlefield.
As long as Yawgmoth Imperfect has 10 or more rebirth counters on it, it gets +10/+10 and has deathtouch, lifelink and indestructible.
When Yawgmoth Imperfect is sent to the graveyard from anywhere, exile it, then all lands becomes swamps in addition to their other types until end of turn.

Next: A W Commander that cares about Instants or Sorceries.
It feels too much like Nissa, Worldwaker, and it feels too Green. I would rework that +1 ability so she wouldn't be just a Nissa rehash. How about something more akin to Hidden Strings or Ral Zarek's +1?
As for the token, I really like the idea of Kiora making huge fat tokens, but massive vanillas with no abilities don't fare too well in Constructed formats. Once again, not a very Blue thing.
As for her Ultimate, it's alright. Not very exciting, but it's pretty good, methinks. In these kinds of effects, however, it's very important for you to specify in which order the cards are put on top.
I really like this. If you want Instant-speed Hero's Downfall that much, use Utter End. If you don't mind the Sorcery speed, use Ruinous Path and you get a lategame upside to compensate for it. Either way, all 3 cards are different enough that none is "strictly better" than the other and made so that they are all at the very least playable in Constructed.
Also, people complaining about this being a Rare: Wasn't Rise of the Eldrazi Limited specifically made so that the format could be slower and you could actually cast your huge bomby Eldrazi without them instantly dying to removal and you feeling stupid about it? Why would BfZ be any different?

Man, I love doing these dual-colored Archetype Uncommons.
Order is paramount in Maltheon, a peaceful world subject to the absolute rule of law as sole sovereign - in theory. In practice, the magical enforcement of Maltheon's law consists largely of reality obeying whomever can litigate the hardest - and so life favors the strong in arm, spell, and belief. In the midst of fierce battles between theocratic Angels, sylvan entities who will defend natural law to the death, and other strange advocates, a weary Jace is dropped... and thinks "not again..."

As for the card itself, it's good. It's not going to be a Modern all-star, but I'm pretty sure it will see Standard play, at least in sideboards. If a card is good enough to see play and you keep asking for it to be better... just don't.
Legendary Creature - Spirit Monk
Washiyu, Indomitable Phantom enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter for each green mana spent to cast him.
When Washiyu, Indomitable Phantom enters the battlefield, distribute X +1/+1 counters amongst other creatures you control, where X is the amount of white mana spent to cast him.
2BBB: Washiyu gets +X/+X until end of turn, where X is the number of +1/+1 counters amongst creatures you control.

Next: A Nantuko (Insect), Ainok (Hound) or Rhox (Elephant) Commander.
Trouble Magnet 3RR
Enchantment - Aura
Enchant creature
Whenever a player casts an instant or sorcery spell that targets only one creature, if that spell could target the enchanted creature, copy that spell. That copy targets the enchanted creature.
Whenever the enchanted creature dies, its controller may return Trouble Magnet to the battlefield attached to a creature.
The best thing about being the universe's plaything is that it usually doesn't lasts long.

Also, people complaining about this being a Rare: Wasn't Rise of the Eldrazi Limited specifically made so that the format could be slower and you could actually cast your huge bomby Eldrazi without them instantly dying to removal and you feeling stupid about it? Why would BfZ be any different?
