I like it as an aggro creature but I'm really not sure why it has flash. I mean I guess it helps you get around a T2 Pyroclasm but it seems unnecessary
It lets him dodge removal and still remain in the field the next turn so you can swing. Bounce him to hand to dodge a wrath, then flash him during your opponent's end step.
Basically, it's WotC's way of giving a U card pseudo-Haste.
Pros:
-Seals the card advantage until it dies.
-4/4 body
-Easier color investment than double blue.
Cons:
-1 more mana
-No evasion
-No flash.
The last two are incredibly relevant issues in decks that want to play Clique, but the first pro is a big one. Definitely a big contender.
Edit: Also note that you can use Clique on yourself, which is a correct play more than zero times.
Also to note is that, if this card fizzles, your opponent still gets to draw a card once he dies, while Vendillion Clique only gives the draw if you shuffle. Basically, in lategame, this card is far worse than Clique.
It's also a sweet multiplayer card, as you may choose different targets for both triggers.
I'd say this land is going to be the absolute king of feelbad blowouts in the format. I can already see the broken faces of the poor saps that swing their fat Eldrazis on an empty board only to be reminded that one of their opponent's lands is a Hissing Quagmire.
I have a feeling you didn't need this card to beat that player.
I'm not talking about winning, I'm talking about the feelbad moments this card is going to generate. There's nothing worst than making a misplay involving cards on the board - being blown out by a card in hand is okay, but being blown out by a card right in your face feels like a kick in the gut. I'm kinda surprised this card exists, actually, because they often say they want to avoid these awful feelbad moments.

Card is alright. Definitely a defensive land, but it's still a 2/2 when you need it. Definitely playable if the format doesn't favors Flying that much.
Currently I stick myself to the mid-level of 15, having yet to buy other planeswalkers. The grinding in this game is pretty crazy.
One thing I absolutely hate about this game is the blatant rarity creep. Here's an example I've seen so far: At common, we have an 11-mana 1/3 Defender creature (whatever that spider is called, can't be bothered to remember). Ok. Then at uncommon, we have a 3/4 Defender for the exact same cost (that Gorger Wurm something). What. Then during one of my PvPs, I run into a rare 6/6 defender for 12 mana.
Wizards. Seriously?
The few rare cards I've seen so far are in general looks so incredibly busted that I need to question the point on having decks without rares. Admittedly, at my level, there aren't that many rares yet that I've seen at my level (not to mentionI have yet to actually get any), but these three rare cards are my biggest pet peeves of the game so far:
The aforementioned 6/6 Defender for 12 mana.
Fetid Imp. Not sure what the cost, but cheap enough for a 1/8 flying with ability that can render your field clear from one bad match.
Pia & Kiran Nalaar. Again, not sure what their cost is, but a 6/6 + 4/4 Flyer is nothing to sneeze at, and doesn't look like they cost like 20 mana anyway.
Agreed, it's pretty ridiculous. I was lucky enough to get Exquisite Firecraft (6 mana, 6 damage) and Skyraker Giant (11 mana, 4/3 Reach) in my first few packs, and I see no reason to not play those busted cards. Now I'm going the Chandra route and focusing on control. It seems there are a few playable Commons (like most weenies), but Defenders in general seem godawful at Common. Sadly, I'm not sure if they intend to balance it out in the future, because y'know, free cash.
Finally fixed my glitch btw, had to contact the devs and they fixed it out for me. Yeah, story mode makes the grind a bit more manageable, but it's still pretty tedious. I hope they add more content, 'cuz while the game is pretty fine it's kinda lacking, and the unbalanced cards will probably mean that the endgame will consist of "10 good cards.dek".
Game seems fun, but needs a LOT of polish. Coins are used for both leveling up and buying packs, at the cost of 225 a piece. A win in Free Play nets you 50, so you need 5 wins without leveling up to be able to buy a single pack, and since matchmaking is still pretty finicky, you're bound to lose a few.
There are still bugs as well. Game crashed on me once, and had some weird stuff happening all around. Also got issues with the health once.
The biggest problem, however, is lack of content. Now, I'm not sure if that was a problem on my end because of some weird glitch, but currently the story mode is locked out, so only Free Play is available. This really sucks, esp. since I'm forced to play with Nissa of all Planeswalkers. I'm forced to wait a few days so I can get the crystals and buy a real character. Is story mode locked for anyone else?
Great story. I wasn't too concerned with Ulamog's portrayal up to this point, but once they introduced Kozilek, I'm totally on boat with the fact that yeah, THAT'S how you're supposed to portray a world-ending titan of pure destruction. Goddamn Kozilek's mere presence in the story was outstanding.
Someone discussed the possibility of Kiora's death in this thread. As I said there as well, I'm pretty sure Kiora is alive. I mean, a merfolk Planeswalker that charged into battle Leeroy Jenkins style and then freaking drowned? That would be so pathetic, she would turn into M:tG's version of Yamcha.
So... basically, it's kinda like a Staff of Nin stapled to a Inferno Titan. I like it, but you stapled two 6 CMC cards together yet still costed it 6.
I really like the design, and I like how you keep that distinct Niv-Mizzet flavor, but that's really not balanced at all at 6. At the very least, it should be a 4/4 like the original Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind, but even then I still think it's really pushed to the limit. Bumping him to 7 mana would also make him fair.
5 colors with ~3 CMC? Well, I usually don't like to "cheat" the requirements, but this one is impossible without either cheating or awful unprintable hybrid costs, so...
Methar, Etherium Infuser3
Legendary Artifact Creature - Golem
Methar, Etherium Infuser is all colors (even if this card isn't in play). 1: Target artifact becomes the color of your choice until end of turn.
Whenever you cast a spell, you may pay 1. If you do, put a +1/+1 counter on each artifact creature you control that shares a color with that spell.
2/2
Next: A Commander with three or more different drawbacks (aka. effects that affect its own player negatively).
Kiora is in no way a mono-U character IMO. Just look at how she acted on Sea Gate once she knew Ulamog was coming. What would a mono-U character do in that situation? He would gather information, plan ahead, adapt, then try to stop the threat. Kiora, however, charges headlong into danger because she's confident she will win - basically, G's instinct over U's careful thinking.
Kiora is clever, curious, cunning, seeks to improve herself and is an overall trickster, all of which are Blue traits, but she's also strong-willed, brash, simple-minded, conservative, spiritually-driven and stubborn, all of which are Green traits. Not every UG character has to be a Simic bioengineer - instead of working with the "nature with nurture" Simic sthick, she instead goes for the simpler "U trickery and curiosity with G wild instinct" route.
As for the theory... I don't like it either, but it's possible. She still has plenty of character development to undergo, though, and if she just suffers a death by Leeroy Jenkins syndrome that wouldn't be exactly a huge impact - quite the opposite, it would be anticlimatic as hell. Her bident also is a powerful iconic artifact that would need to go somewhere if she dies, too.

Yeah, I'm actually surprised they added the Planeswalkers. It's actually kinda funny Duels gets to enjoy BfZ without the tyranny of Rhino and all the Khans cards - a stark contrast to the IRL format, and could be used to predict the post-rotation format.
Also, dat feeling when you play a Blue-Black control deck and your first pack contains Sire of Stagnation. Awwww yisssss.

This seems like a late-development design where they just had to make a card around some art they had laying around.

To stay in line with the keyword themes, it could also be Prowess, though looting is also very likely.
