I agree it's a very cool card, but somehow I don't like him one bit - I wanted a Red Planeswalker Commander and instead got an Artifact Planeswalker Commander. Don't get me wrong, I can see why people likes this, but it's just not my cup of tea. Oh well, I'll probably be getting the Black deck.
With that said, it's a cool character and a powerful card all in all. Fun to build around and has its own niche despite being Artifact Commander #137.

Also, for all you guys out there that were crying that you always wanted Goblin Welder to be Legendary... well, Goblin Welder is now a Planeswalker!

Were Mind Control effects RUINED FOREVER and became UNPLAYABLE JANK when Homeward Path was printed?
Stop overreacting guys. Besides, utility lands that don't produce color aren't a "staple" in 3+ color decks.

With that said, I find it hilarious you can "turn off" Shroud for some other player so he can enchant it with stuff. Politics!

We were the one doing the set Homelands !! The cards in the set should have the same name as the current Homeland but the rest of the card characteristic can be changed including mana cost, ability, mechanics, rarity how would the set turn out if we were the one doing it that time?

Prophet was essentially a gateway through which value creatures could compete with hardcore combo decks. That door is closed now and combo gets that much better.

If you are playing Lightning Bolt in EDH and it's not a gimmick deck like "mono-red 1 drops" then you are terrible at EDH. That said, I'll give you $1 each for all your Tarmogoyfs because they die to Doom Blade.

If this was a 2 mana 1/1, I think it would be a higher pick for everyone. As is, it's a higher pick for people who are going the colorless route and people who aren't in colorless are less likely to grab it.

Now we're talking. Easily the best Eldrazi-centric story this block, and Kelly Digges continues to knock it out of the park. I like seeing his name at the top of the page on Wednesday morning.

I think Kiora is being too hard on herself; Lorthos plus two of Kiora's followers is actually the perfect team for taking out Kozilek. She just got blown out by Turn Against, and it's hard to blame her for that in game one.

Actually from the description I don't think Kozilek makes sense at all. Omnath is certainly not benevolent or willing to help Zendikar, either. He (it) has been contained underground for a countless amount of time by a ritual and it was believed that if he were to be released that he would wreak unending havoc on Zendikar. And that was all before he was the Locus of Rage! So I think it makes perfect sense that Ob is releasing Omnath.

Given the way Ob Nixilis described the mind of the thing (the way he approached it), it seems to me more like it would be Kozilek, instead of Omnath:

Not to mention the flavor text of Kozilek's Channeler. I believe Omnath will show up in the story in Oath, but to me it is very clear Ob Nixilis was talking to Kozilek.

Great story btw, all it took was giving it to the right writer.

EDIT: I marked on bold the phrase that sells it to me as being Kozilek. Reality being warped is definetly a Kozilek thing.
