I find it kinda weird that Sorin would just out to seek Ugin's dead body if he really had trapped Nahiri in the Helvault. He knew that the Helvaut was destroyed back on the original Innistrad - he was there, looking for Avacyn, after all. In that case, he should focus on dealing with the pissed-off, vengeful little girl that threatened to destroy his entire freaking plane in a small hissy fit instead of finding Ugin.

Also apparently, the new guy has more of a tech focus to his experience. Could this mean more input into the clunky and terribly designed MTGO client? Maybe something new altogether (which is probably the way to go. Polishing a turd isn't the right idea in my own humble opinion)

Could this mean they are finally going to fix comments on Gatherer?
    Well, one can dream. Rolleyes

    Just my two cents:

    • Both versions are IMO extremely overpowered, due to the fact that both can steal lands. So, if you can keep an empty board (if you're Grixis, of course you can clear a board), v.1 ensures that your opponents can't get past his fourth/fifth land drop, or it makes it extremely unlikely. v.2 just skips the randomness, the board restriction, the luck factor and makes it noninteractive, though at least a wipe can get your lands back. That makes v.1 more fair, but that's like saying Smokestack is more fair than Stasis.
    • Neither version captures the flavor of what an Lich is. Y'know, immortal, powerful mage that deals with undeath and the likes. I would associate Liches with alternate loss conditions, not win conditions. Both also feel extremely U-ish, maybe a bit R-ish, but not much B going on on those Liches.
    • The whole package seems extremely powerful in the overall, even if you fix the lands issue. As far as I know, Dominus of Fealty is a pretty good card, and v.1 has one less cost, around the same body, steals things permanently and from every player in the table and has a wincon tacked on, at the measly cost of stealing at random.

Overall, v.1 is more "fair" right now, but both seem pretty busted.

Legendary Creature - Human Warrior Demon
Whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control, you may have Garruk, the Fallen fight another creature. If you do, gain 3 life.

His spark lost, he plots revenge upon the witch whose corrupting mana fractured his soul.

In Naya, strength and bravery shines brighter than any flame.

    Kami of Birth 2G
    Creature - Spirit
Spirit or Arcane spells cost 1 less to cast.
Whenever you cast a Spirit or Arcane spell, you gain 1 life.
Before the war, the servants of Iname blessed the newborns with a prosperous life. Now they bring forth only other spirits, heralding cruel deaths.
    2/3

    Eraser of Sanity 3BR
    Creature - Eldrazi
    Devoid
When you cast Eraser of Sanity, target opponent exiles the top four cards of their library.
Eraser of Sanity's power and toughness are each equal to the number of exiled cards each opponent controls.
Whenever Eraser of Sanity becomes the target of an opponent's spell, that opponent may return up to two cards in his or her exile to the graveyard.

Hot damn Geier Reach Bandit, that card is AWESOME. 3/2 Haste for 2R is great, but the ability of skipping the transformation of all other Werewolves? Yeah, that's simply amazing. There we go, Werewolf players. If that doesn't makes Werewolf playables, I don't know what will.

Pretty bad card IMO, and ultimately filler for the Werewolf deck. Just sad that the guy isn't wearing a Hannibal-like mask. Now that would have been cool.

I feel bad for green players.
Don't. Before Collected Company decks and Abzan, we had G Devotion and GR Monstrosity, and before that, we had GR Zoo, and before that, we had many Midrange ddecks with Thragtusk.
Green has been amongst the top decks for quite some time, and Green players are doing just fine IMO.

As for the cards... well, they seem fine. Uvenwald Hydra is a fixed Primetime, as the article states, and it was necessary because Primetime is busted in casual formats and needed an "fair" replacement. Probably nowhere near Standard.
From Under the Floorboards could get there. The lifegain is really relevant, but in order to be playable, Control decks would need to go the Madness route, and that Madness trigger would need to be Instant speed for flexibility. I don't think that will be happening anytime soon, but I could be wrong.
Creeping Dread probably cost 1 too much to see play, but I think it's surprisingly pretty good. Losing 3 life is always relevant, even when situational, and there are ways to make your discard work in you favor. I would love this in many Graveyard oriented Commander decks.

Why tapped. That's a steep cost for it and your only gonna revive this maybe once or twice in a game. It's stats don't warrant it being dangerous even with flying and 3 power.

Why would you want to block with a 3/1 Flier in Limited anyways? These wings are made for attackin'.

As for the card, it's Limited fodder mostly, but it's pretty alright. I love it how the second cost is much cheaper than the base one, so "cheating" it into play somehow with a Turn 1 discard nets you a 3/1 Flier on Turn 2. So, say, Lightning Axe T1 to face, T2 this just straight-up wins games.
