The "Storybook Creature" card frame previewed in Goldilocks gave me the feel of a "card within a card". It has a secondary cost (positioned on the right, implying that there may be text on the left, maybe the mechanic's name or even a secondary card name), a green bar tall enough to fit text but too short to be anything but one or two words tops (which I assume could be a secondary card type) and a distinct secondary text box, about the same size as a Saga chapter.Quote from Pappy »I'm thinking, based on partial reveal, that this new mechanic will be generic alternative casting costs to get a different card. Could be some powerful stuff here.
My "boring" guess would be Creatures that are also Instants/Sorceries (so basically Split cards where one of the halves is a Creature). My other guess would be the creature being able to cast its "secondary spell" if certain conditions are met. Considering this is Goldilocks we're talking, maybe said spell could create Bears? I dunno.
