I wasn't sold at all about Tireless Tracker in this deck, but I got to say I was very wrong. I tested it out of curiosity as I don't own a 4th Azusa and i saw the card all day. It never disappointed, even when it got removed right away. Yes, it's a slow threat and CA engine, but the opponent got to do something about it anyway, which gives more chance for Titan to survive when it lands. I rarely sided it out.
Epic fail on g3. I was in a very favourable situation at turn 3, I play Demonic Consultation naming Plains. I got 2 in the deck. The first is exiled in top 6, the second is in the last 4 cards of my library. And there is no way I can't kill him within 4 turns ^^
I drop the tournament. (And I'll remove this card from my deck immediately)
The Eldrazi Skyspawner is here because I only own 1 Batterskull and because I play only 3 Azusa. He ramps, makes a decent flying chumpblocker (for Ornithopter and Nexus) and can be found with Ancient Stirrings. He's a temporary solution, but he never disappointed me so far
Sideboard is a bit clunky and is subject to change (probably a Ceremonious Reject and a Hornet Queen in, and Ghostquarter maindeck).
Won a tournament with the deck today. About 30 people, I think.
Round 1 vs UW Control :
G1, Titan turn 3 on the play, easy win. G2, slow start for me, he got to four mana and chained Cryptic Commands from there, I coudn't come back. G3, tough game. No time to finish. SB wasn't really useful for me but the control machtup is pretty favorable already.
Round 2 vs Bant Spirit :
Didn't know that deck. He got a serious clock but we're faster and EE does a great job here. 2-1
Round 3 vs Bant Eldrazi :
G1 he got me low, but Khalni tokens and Fountain did the job. G2, he starts slow. Thought-Knot Seer almot got me by removing a Titan from hy hand but I was lucky enough to draw some action after. Baloths from the SB were really helpful. 2-0
Round 4 vs Burn :
G1, I couldn't do much. Lost quickly (turn 4 maybe). G2, Atarka Command and Revelry were annoying, but once again Baloths were great. After that, I started bouncing Fountain for the win. Pretty much the same g3.
Round 5 vs Burn :
ID.
Top 8 :
quarter vs Tron : honestly, shouldn't have won this. Lost g1 quickly with some dumb mistakes on my part. G2, the same, but he doesn't see he can blow up my Tolaria in resp to a Bounce land trigger, I get Tolaria back, fetch Titan and win. G3, I won extra fast.
demi vs Esper control : tough games, very interesting. Batterskull was an absolute beast (the Germs ate up like 3 of the 5 Paths he played/flashbacked on G2).
final vs Scapeshift. Double amulet on g1. G2 was more difficult. He got Chalice on 0 on his turn 1. Ouch. I was slow but he never got his Scapeshift, so I made it.
The deck still feels solid. I'm sold on the snakes, they're really good, especially if you run Batterskull. They chumpblock in the worst matchups and the possibility to play lands at instant speed is useful sometimes. Regarding sideboard, I might test a single Ceremonious Rejection (vs Tron and Drazi). I still run Ruric in SB, but Hornet Queen will probably replaces him soon. Maybe Ghostquarter deserves its place maindeck, because of Tron and Infect. Depends of your metagame, I guess.
I played the deck yesterday for the first time since the Summer Bloom ban. Won the FNM 4-0. It feels good to be back, haha.
More seriously, I can't deny I had luck all evening.
Round 1 was against a slow and quite obscure combo deck. I played quickly a Titan both times.
Round 2 against Tron (not an optimal version). G1, he won the toss and had Tron on turn 3. I could'nt do much. G2 and G3, I won with Ghost Quarter.
Round 3 against Infect. Ugh. G1, he made a mistake and I survived his turn 3 at 9 poison counters. From there, I was able to play Titan, fetch Slaughter Pact for his Nexus, block his elf, then next turn fetch EE and lock the game. G2, I kept a slow hand with lot of Nexus hate (Ghost Quarter and Nature's Claim) and a Snake that gained me some time to chump block and ramp. EE did the rest.
Round 4 against Collected Company. My opponent didn't know Titan very well and made some mistakes during G2. I won G1 on turn 3 with double amulet. G2, he started slow, but so did I. Vesuva to copy his fetch for my first land (only non-bounce land I had). He played Wall of roots on his second turn. On my turn, I fetched a Forest with my Vesuva/Catacombs, dismembered his Wall, played a Simic bouncing my forest. From there, Asuza and Pyroclasm did a great job and won me the game.
First impressions : Sakura-Tribe Scout seems OK ! But I didn't face decks that can kill it for cheap. I barely saw Batterskull but it looks strong. I never saw my last remaining Hivemind (and often sided it out), but I think I'll keep one in, at least for now.
I was wondering what are the worst matchups for the deck ? Besides the obvious Infect. Dredge must be hard too, I guess.
Same as you guys, Im thinking about cutting Time Twister and Teferi's Box. Sanitarium is the true lock. Though I'll probably keep Time Spiral, because it's too tempting and it won me a lot of games.
And I'll never remove Primeval Titan from this list. He brings the lock lands or whatever we need and he's a great wincon by himself. I don't think I ever lost a game where I casted him, even when he died right away.

Cool games. G1 was complicated. G2, he drew very few removals and never saw his Jokulhaups, thankfully.
No, there is a misunderstanding here. I didn't brag, I'm the Grenzo who got crushed ^^
I should have written 0-2 and not 2-0 maybe. My bad.
In about 5 minutes ^^

And thank you Dan for this tournament !
Seems I can't have 2 lands in a 43 lands deck full of cantrips.
I drop the tournament.
I'll be back with a 50 lands deck next time, I guess ^^
I confirm.
