For those saying there's no legendary R/G Werewolf, isn't it possible that one of the green DFCs transforms into a red creature? Or a red into green? They did it the first time around with Civilized Scholar.
Not sure why that's a huge deal, since none of those spells are in Standard right now. Also, I find the complaint of "strictly worse than X card that's not in Standard", to be mostly silly. I understand it for the sense that people want new cards for Modern and stuff, but new sets generally don't provide a huge pile of new cards for Modern, and that's okay, because that isn't their #1 goal. I like Standard the most, because it's a continually rotating set of cards to build decks with, so there's always huge shifts in what's possible, and that's easy to accomplish, when the list of cards that are legal is continually changing. I don't particularly care to compare these cards to every past card like it because that's pointless for Standard. Who cares if this card is "strictly worse" than Time Warp? Time Warp isn't in Standard, and Modern already has Time Warp, it doesn't need more, and it probably doesn't need an extra turn spell that costs LESS than Time Warp.
I think if you want your game to succeed for a long time, then only ever designing strictly better cards is impossible. If they designed every card to be strictly better, this game would become very bad very quickly, as each set tried to one-up the most powerful cards in the previous set. Or do people want a Lightning Bolt that does 4 damage for R, and a Time Walk that costs U?
The power level of each set has to constantly shift, that's important to the long term health of the game. For people who don't like that some Standard will be weaker/stronger than others, there's Modern/Legacy/Commander/etc.
When BFZ is out, Standard will consist of BFZ, Origins, and Khans block. With regards to Standard, it shouldn't matter if strictly better cards exist elsewhere in the game outside of those sets. Good players work with the tools they have. They don't sit around complaining that they could chop down this tree faster if their axe was a flaming chainsaw.
Besides working with Herald of Kozilek how does this card being colorless matter?
Iona can't stop you from casting it when her controller chooses Black? Won't trigger your opponents Demon Horn? Neither of those are in standard, but hey
I'm sure there will be some reasons for colourless instants/sorceries to matter in BFZ (and Oath) though.
In a Standard where Ulamog and friends will be running about, this seems like it would be more useful. Hits Rhinos and raptors and Dragons and such, too.
So printing IoK would have been a safe reprint the
I dunno, I think IoK alongside this would be pretty strong together in Standard. Probably more so than Duress+Despise, because you could probably more reliably strip their hand bare.

I don't think the restriction is completely unreasonable, considering in standard you can hit 7 lands before turn 7 with explosive vegetation, among other things.
Battling my friend and I play Dragonlord Atarka against him. In response to it entering the battlefield and it's "5 damage divided" ability going on the stack, he unmorphs an Icefeather Aven and bounces Atarka to my hand. Do I still get to deal 5 damage amongst his creatures despite Atarka no longer being on the battlefield when her ability on the stack resolves?

So it looks like Savage Knuckleblade can't be obtained from a Temur seeded pack? Trail of Mystery seems to bump it out, as we've seen all the other Temur rares opened from Seeded packs except for Savage Knuckleblade and Avalanche Tusker, and I'm assuming Avalanche Tusker is in, since Ankle Shanker from the intro pack cycle was opened in a Mardu seeded pack.
