There is a problem with Wall of Devine intervention. It cannot have hexproof if its first activated ability is meant to redirect opponent's spells like Spellskite. Hexproof makes it an invalid target and therefore the target change wouldn't happen. One way to solve this problem is add a line to the ability that says "Wall of Devine Intervention loses hexproof until the next end step. Change the target..."

The other abilities look okay and if you want you could save text space, get rid of hexproof on the wall (since it can grant itself hexproof with its second ability) and give it a different blue/green keyword, like flash. You might also want to change the name to avoid confusion since Divine Intervention is already a card and this wall has nothing in common with it.

The idea for this card started when I asked myself if there was a card that shut down the 21 commander damage win condition, what would it look like?

I like how it's a strictly better coercion. It will definitely see play in limited, but I wonder if a three mana sorcery speed edict is enough to make up for the late game uselessness of a three mana discard spell in standard.

How about a Final Punishment effect?

It would deals damage to each player equal to the amount of damage that player received this turn.

Other ideas that seem likely is an extra combat step for RR, or perhaps a some kind of scaling fireball effect that gives a damage bonus similar to Crater's Claws, but always gives the damage bonus at the expense of your lands not untapping.

Is this deck mana hungry? I'm asking because Cryptolith Rite seems almost perfect here as a way take advantage of the warrior token's vigilance and use them to tap for mana at the end of your opponent's turn and draw a lot off of your clues. It could also allow the deck to tap and sacrifice a bunch of creatures to westvale abbey while keeping most of your lands open, as well as allow you to tap out your lands to empty your hand and then leave enough creatures without summoning sickness untapped to flash in Avacyn if you need to protect your board.

I don't know what I'd take out to make room, because the deck needs a critical mass of creatures to be effective. Maybe test out two copies of Rite and remove a Dusk//Dawn and an Avacyn (assuming that you're willing to try a green splash in the first place).

This could be fun in decks that use Pyromancer Ascension in modern.

I'm also getting those hijacking ads. It has quite literally been impossible to access the forums on the mobile version of safari because the ad shows up and redirects me to that page the moment I try click on any link to the forums. I've had to log into my desktop to report this.

Though this is not isolated to these forums today, the news aggregators that I regularly visit have been plagued by the same type of ad.

For those using lightning axe, Nahiri the Harbinger and other discard outlets, I can't help but wonder if Avacyn's Judgment might be worth testing. I know that under most circumstances Burn from Within is the better fireball variant to use, but I like judgement's added utility of hitting multiple targets. I guess it really depends on how often you can reliably find a discard outlet.

I wonder if we'll see a standard deck with Solemnity and Thing in the Ice. I know It isn't an auto-transform combo, but every Thing that's cast after Solemnity is on the battlefield will only require one instant or sorcery spell to transform.

    Edit-

Hehe, it makes bounce cards a bit more useful and entertaining in Thing in the Ice decks. Say you have Essence Flux in hand and Thing as well as Solemnity. If Thing in the Ice entered the battlefield before the enchantment then you can use flux to remove all the counters from Thing in the Ice. If Thing in the Ice entered the battlefield after Solemnity, then you can use flux as a one mana Evacuation since it would cause Thing in the Ice to transform into Awoken Horror before exiling it and then returning it to the battlefield as Thing in the Ice again.

Looking at how Flickerform is worded, how about "Whenever a player casts a spell, exile enchanted creature and Intermittent Presence. Return that card to the battlefield under its owner's control the next time a player casts a spell. If you do, return Intermittent Presence to the battlefield under its owner's control attached to that creature."

As for the effect, I like it and I think it could work well. It reminds me a little bit of phasing, but allows for ETB triggers.

Kahaline, Goddess of Love can't attack or block unless you control two other creatures with the same type.
Tap two non-artifact creatures you control: Create a creature token that is a random copy of one of the tapped creatures, except it is a 1/1 and has both of the tapped creature's types. Activate this ability only any time you could cast a sorcery.

The common theme in all of the HOU Invocations seems to be cards that represent world ending/changing events. I wonder if we'll see Damnation.

I could see someone trying to fit this in a deck with Crush of Tentacles and cards with the awaken mechanic. Downside is that it doesn't feel very good to have your land creatures Fatal Pushed.

Interesting, with all five of these revealed I wonder how the Gatewatch survives, since it's a given that with all the setup WOTC would want at least some of their avengers to get away to keep the story moving. Does Samut come to the rescue, or perhaps Ajani would make more sense since he's battled with Bolas in the past.

Did some youtube-research on Ixalan (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4oXwlvjld_o)
Seems like its most likely to be Mayan-inspired
There's a mayan language branch called "Ixilean" (if WotC drew inspiration from that)
Ix- seems to be a 'prefix' used to indicate female/feminine. (I also googled a lot of names of female gods had Ix- as prefix)
-lan seems to be a word for a 'place' for example a town/city.

So my speculation is that Ixalan is some sort of city (maybe drawing inspiration from Tenochtitlan - although Aztec. Or perhaps there is food for thought that this is a return to Ravnica - the great city *feminine*).

There also seems to be a group called the Ixil people with keywords such as: Isolation, misty, small communities (forming a Ixil Triangle - maybe we will see many villages with one grand city?), harsh and basic lives.

The way you describe it here the set sounds like a female warrior society set in an pre-colonization South American setting. Seems like WOTC are combining the area known as the Amazon basin with the Greek Amazon warriors.
