I hadn't realized that you could use it more then once, but now it just seems broken. Could it see play in Abzan Midrange?
As for Taisgur, to me it seems like a Gurmag Angler with more potential. You'd expect more out of a khan, especially one capable of raising demon armies.
That Warden..... Having an 8/8 trampler with lifelink on T6 sure is good. Same with being able to swing for 3 on turn 2 with one creature w/o drawbacks. Taisgur is disappointing. If only it had a Ghoulcaller Gisa-ish ability.... The dragons are nice, but I wish they made them less expensive and smaller.
This card is quite good. Temur has disappointed on most frnts but this puts it back on the map. R/G Monsters has a new plaything, and it would do well to make good use of it.
He probably isnt as good as Brimaz, but I'd say this guy is a lot better then Mirran crusader. He can run rampant, and in Cube the difference between noncreature spell and Young Pyromancers instants and sorceries is large. I feel bad for Abzan in standard; Jeskai is getting so many new toys
I am currently running a U/W Heroic deck and a G/B deck but these two are strictly casual and I would like to make the jump to competitive standard and with all the new toys that Jeskai is receiving in FRF i am now considering trying out some kind of Jeskai Wins Deck on a moderate budget. Thoughts and suggestions? Jeskai are easily my favorite colors to play with.
Still HugSeal, you'd expect that in a set with other really good decks with cards like Wurmcoil Engine and Goblin Welder you'd expect something a little better than Cyclonic Rift, which while being excellent doesn't really make a deck rise above the rest.
Which deck do people think has the most potential to get better with some budget modifications? I don't want to invest all that much in EDH, but I still want an excellent casual deck or borderline competitive one.
The white deck seems a little underwhelming and since Nahiri's abilities completely revolve around equipment, the fact that it doesn't have that much equipment really hurts it… The red deck revolves around artifacts, but it has more than enough artifacts to be good. The contrast is pretty stark. The white deck seems like it has a fair amount of value but the deck itself is lacking in how good it is.
