I really feel bad for the green god. The green god will be just a fattie with trample a bizarre condition to be creature and a overcosted ability that gives litte advantage. Then we have this guy, pure value machine. After the several underwhelming mythics we saw until now, finally something that is really impressive.
That's kinda how I feel as well, but maybe the three remaining Gods that we'll see this week are the better Gods and will actually be really good.
But this card is just really nice overall. Even if it won't be in anything beyond Standard and EDH, at least this is exciting. At least this is a card that players might want to consider building around. Will the green god be able to compete with that?

Not a fan of this card. For 7 mana, I'd expect more direct board impact. And when the opponent can just sacrifice cheap chump blockers, this doesn't seem all that great.
Very Timmy. I do expect EDH play out of this, though.
So...if I am playing burn, and I use a valuable burn spell on a creature, it's going to die from that single burn spell.
If it doesn't, I'm burning my opponent's face.
With that in mind, I don't get how this card is good in burn outside of Kitchen Finks removal in Modern.
In Legacy (the format that actually matters), not worth a slot.
It isn't a bad card by any stretch but it seems as if everyone is ignoring the text "instead" that is printed on this card.
This is good in that it can slow down a creature. Say you have a bolt and an opponent has a 3/4 or something like that, or something like a Goyf. Using the bolt on the creature wouldn't be a bad play. It doesn't kill it, but it can either slow it down or make it almost entirely useless, or make it so one of your creatures can kill it if it were to attack or something like that. It essentially takes away the all or nothing aspect of burn spells against creatures, which can be incredibly powerful.
Surprised why it has Prowess if it only counts non-combat damage.
The way it's worded means multiple copies won't stack, which sucks, but would've made this incredibly broken.
I also feel like Wither would have been a superb addition to the set, though it's entirely possible it will be in HOU.
It's a cool ability, but the fact it's noncombat damage is quite unfortunate, though there are plenty of burn spells to use I guess. I don't think this is nearly as good as some think, though if Wither is in HOU, then this may end up being crazy good.
Fantastic value with the green guys that give your own duders -1/-1 counters. Another part of the Nest of Scarabs wombo combo? Generally she looks like a fun commander.
Not quite Nest of Scarabs good, as you only get one token on the trigger, no matter how many -1/-1 counters you put on a creature, where the Nest puts a number of black insects equal to the number of -1/-1 counters you put on a creature. It's very good no doubt, but not as good as the Scarabs in that regard. If she did do that, she'd be broken as hell.
Let's be real here, this card is SLOW. In Modern and eternal, you can cast Ancestral Visions or any other no mana cost suspend card the turn it comes down, which is great. But otherwise, it's just so damn slow. I can see it being a setup for Living End or something like that, but it's just so damn absurdly slow. I think people are really overrating this card.
In EDH, however, this should be a fantastic card. Being able to play spell for free on EACH turn is massive. I think its extremely slow nature is far better for EDH than Modern or Eternal. And as for Standard, without much 0 CMC stuff, are you really willing to burn a turn for this and patiently wait for this thing to become viable? This is one of those cards that's significantly better in older formats with the larger card pool that could break this easier.
I think it's alright, nothing particularly special, but could be one of those cards that will be broken by something new that comes out in several years.
Cast Out looks really good, and Drake Haven is at rare because of limited? In constructed, cycling will have be super pushed for this to be playable at 3cmc. At 3cmc your opponents are already crewing 4/4 flying haste creatures and leaving up mana to disintegrate (and bolting you) your threat/blocker. The cycling clause on Cast Out is great though!
Drake Haven triggers on discard, so looting/rummaging triggers it, not just cycling. Think how broken it would be if Smuggler's Copter were still in Standard. You'd be right if it were just cycling, but general discard makes it far more versatile
Not a fan. I like this less than the red god. Horrible late game. Horrible as a top deck. Activated ability, like the red god's, is overcosted.
Forcing you to have 7+ cards in hand isn't very good. Where the red god seems better late game, this card seems better early game, which is backwards with regards to the color pie. And with seemingly more fliers this set, it might not be all that difficult to chump.
I'm not very impressed with the gods so far. Red and blue have been alright, but nothing supremely impressive. Red is better imo.
I just hate that this is the reason why it's rare. I just want them to not care about limited so much.
I do think it can find some play in Constructed as it'll be triggered on looting/rummaging, not just cycling. Unfortunately, this does nothing on its own and still requires you to pay 1 to get the Drake. I'm sure there will be jank Standard decks with this in them and possibly some Against the Odds type of decks as well. but this is the first card that I'm actually hyped about, but it feels like this will be kinda like Thopter Spy Network where it'll kinda just be there, seem interesting, but not make a super huge splash.

It's a Timmy and Johnny card. The biggest thing against this card is that it's not very good in Standard. I don't see this card holding much value.
