I hate to be *that* guy but I think I would still run Tooth and Nail over this.

So exactly instant speed lava axe? The original has always been fine, the tweak should make it really strong. Not much to say about Sarkhan himself that isn't on his leak thread.

Both in terms of name and effect this is so perfect and obvious that it feels like it should have always existed

So, with any Planeswalker on the Battlefield and this guy without any counters, is there a window during proliferate where the mutant sees the Planeswalker get the counter and becomes a proliferate target itself, or does it just get the 1 counter from it's ability?

I'm pretty sure it's the latter but I'm not 100% on this call.
If this doesn't have any counters on it for some reason when you proliferate, it won't gain the counters from its ability before you finish proliferating, but given that it enters with counters (and should get them when a new planeswalker enters the battlefield), you shouldn't be caught in an awkward position where you won't have any counters to proliferate unless you also don't have any planeswalkers out.

Ah, I had forgotten that Planeswalkers entering caused the addition of loyalty counters. Silly of me given that I've played enough EDH to know about the interaction with a certain green enchantment.

Heck, even the 4/4 for 3GU with Trample is fine on a walkerless board.

The Iliad, absolutely. What about the Odyssey? Odysseus makes it home to Ithaca, slaughters all his wife's suitors, and finishes the tale back in her arms. It's sweet, really.
except that he has several sexual relationships along the way and near the end decided to give up and live the rest of his days with Nausicaa... Before getting drugged and dumped on the shores of Ithaca. Imagine him trying to explain all this to his wife.

Everything we know of sexual mores during the Greco-Roman era would suggest that the amourous relationships would not have been an issue in of themselves and his resignation to his fate was more about Oddyseus grappling with his impossible challenges and learning to live a new life. I suspect Penelope would have been (generally) sympathetic and accepting - in time.

Interesting Synergy with God-Eternal Bontu in an afterlife build. First Bontu is able to sac some afterlife creatures for cards and evasive bodies. Those cards will give you Oketra and some food for her token ability. Alternatively, first Oketra will allow you to generate extra food for Bontu.

I say first because it's reasonable to assume that each will get killed. And when they do then the synergies just compound. If the deck needs extra mana (and cheap dorks)then some form of Azban may be viable -possibly explore and Wildgrowth Walker, if it needs to be taking advantage of the sacrifices then Mardu is open with Mayhem Devil

I feel echoes of Torrential Gearhulk in this. A fairly decent finisher in creatureless control builds even if the body is random, most of the time it should be huge.

Well that cc seems fine for a sorcery that exiles all other graveyards. The fact that they do much more than that.. seems fairly pushed for an uncommon. Their pet seems quite fine for limited with s big butt and built in Mana-sink.

To be fair, just because she helps the Gatewatch fight Bolas here, doesn't mean she's all buddy-buddy with them again. She might still go her separate way after this is over.

The problem is all this "oh the things that heroes do have consequences except all the times they don't, because is convenient for the plot for we lazy writers."
Well, she isn't a Nihilist so she recognizes that Bolas must be defeated. She may never talk to the other Walkers at all.
After Bolas, New Phyrexia will be the new threat of the multiverse. Since Nissa "is not a nichilist" she will at end help the Gatewatch because she recognize that eventually Phyrexia will matter also for her plane.
After New Phyrexia, a probably awakaned Emrakul from innnistrad moon will be the new multiverse threat. She will join the Gatewatch because she will recognize Emmy can travel between planes and harm again zendikar eventually
Ob Nixilis could try to become the new Bolas at the conquest of the multiverse...ok you get it.
And so on, because this game if isn't about a multiplanar threat isn't even really threatening at all, since our heroes are all planeswalkers.
...so, once again, why she leaved the gatewatch, if in the end, she will always fight with the gatewatch in any multiplanar threat that could harm in the long term her plane too?
The writers were just incompetent at handle this.
You sure are being awfully critical of stuff that hasn't happened yet.

The one good thing that has come out of this conversation is that I get to use this:

What was the sense to make Nissa leave the Gatewatch if she just triumph here against bolas plot just as she never leaved in the first place?
Those writers are getting more disappointing every day.

After working for "the man" for 20+ years I can tell you one thing for sure... In the real world people who don't see eye to eye on even like each other very much end up working together. The idea of Nissa siding with the Gateewatch but believing that in time they may be the next big threat isn't only a fairly common thread in fiction; it's probably the truest part of the whole multiverse.

it doesnt have to be just 2 colors, right ?
for example if i reveal 3 jund cards, i could take all 3, one for BG, one for RG, one for BR, right ?

AFAIK, it must be exactly gb to qualify for your Golgari pick. So Jund cards would be hidden to it's abilities
