I thought the party mechanic was a pretty good hint at rogue, cleric, warrior, wizard, and ally tribal.

He mills without targeting and avoids shock. Murasa Rootgrazer makes me think of that scarecrow with a similar mechanic, which also goes with Retreat to Coralhelm.
Not strictly better, because Hedron Crab is often used to mill yourself to get cards in your yard. I do like it, though, and Murasa Rootgrazer is a great card to re-trigger Landfall. -

she's also depicted here outside of the walls, so i mean... anyone who chooses to live in the jungle outside a city's walls is pretty reclusive in their own right
thanks for offering up the link, clearly a lot of people don't know too much about her lore which is a shame because that period in magic's history is far more rich than anything current -

That is not correct. Convoke always allowed you to tap creatures for color.
Originally, convoke was an additional cost that reduced the cost in mana. With the return of convoke in Magic 2015, the rules for convoke changed to their current form as an alternative way of paying a mana cost. This affects how it interacts with, for example, Eldrazi Spawn tokens' sacrifice-based mana ability (mana abilities must be activated before paying costs), and effects such as Trinisphere that care about total costs.
Quote from WizardMN »
That isn't what changed. They only changed that you could no longer "overpay" for a spell with Convoke, changing it from a cost reduction to a payment method. It was always able to pay for colored mana.Quote from migrena »Convoke was significantly changed when it was reprinted. Initially only generic mana could be paid with convoke and now colored mana can be paid as well with matching creature.
EDIT: Oh, Dunharrow got to it before me
Ah, I stand corrected. It happened quite long time ago and WotC does not use any versioning system on the rules.
Apparently tentacles are quite delicious and cats and foxes have eaten all of them.Quote from Crispen_Smith »This may be a stupid question but what happened with all the Gyruda, Doom of Depths hype? For a couple of days I couldn't escape the idea of turn 0 and turn 1 wins, and now it isn't a blip.
But seriously, Gyruda is Charbelcher style nondeterministic glass cannon deck and it's easier to produce more consistent results with other decks. It's still a playable deck across the formats but not good enough to get to top places. -

Two cards with completely different conditionals can never be strictly better than the other. That’s not what strictly better means. -

No creatures in play and no cards in hand is the time when I want to draw more cards. This card doesn't help me when I am behind. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

It also claims that 2 bears in a trenchcoat is HUUUUGE. So, on the one hand yay, on the other hand o_O

Heck, as an ally, I find this profoundly moving. I respect that I can't really imagine how significant it must be for you, but I love that the game that we have all gained so much joy in is willing to support the community.

Both of those were badly hurt by being sorcery speed. I actually run Commence the Endgame over Enter The God Eternals simply because of timing.

But, those hot springs have been around forever and seem likely to be a natural part of any Asian inspired culture/biome. May as well feel like Mountain feels out of place?

Oh yes, so it has.

That will appear in New Capena as Mergers and Acquisitions Octopus, it will be red and give your opponent a treasure token in exchange of their best assets

Given that e-witness has generated many a play your whole deck loops I'm comfortable with this being watered down a little.

I totally get what you are saying but I have a different experience of this artwork. I totally could see some person living in a magical cyberpunk land trying to live his dream of being a DJ and building this costume for his stage show. That's my experience of this artwork. And it's totally cool that different people have a different experience.
I'm okay with some stuff missing the mark of that's what it takes for WoTC to experiment with broader options.
