Having looked at the notes for Citadel Siege I'm pretty sure but a confirmation would be great... When a siege etbs while an ETB doubler like Yarok is in play do you get both modes? Both Monastery and Frontier would be great with both modes.
Unfortunately this doesn’t work with the Sieges because those have replacement effects ("as ~ enters the battlefield”), not triggered abilities ("when ~ enters the battlefield”).
Ah yes, I should have recognized that. Getting rusty in my old age.

Panharmonicon on a Creature, and something with Deathtouch and Lifelink.
And a resilient bum.
Edit: I've been playing Sultai since the first Commander set, first Dania then Sidisi and briefly Leovald and a partner pair. Power level on Sultai commanders have always been tricky to balance, either overwhelming or irrelevant to the way the list plays. This feels very relevant but possibly fair.
I feel like they are really pushing the complexity beyond what a core set has traditionally supported. Between colored artifacts, protection and now Living Weapon... and I for one am kind of loving it.
I almost want to believe that Legion's End is good enough for modern due to the plethora of relevant targets but Sorcery is just too slow. I guess with the Leyline of Anticipation being available in this standard it might fit there.
Ever since Lone Rider was printed I've been trying to make a zoo lifegain hybrid in a 60 card format. The new Angel and this new Ajani might be exactly what I need.
downside is it hits your creatures too so if you just splash snow lands to play it hits your creatures
Which has always been the case with sweepers. At least with this there's a chance it's not symmetrical if you run snow creatures. Otherwise, just go creaturless.
Why go creatureless though? It counts all snow permanents you control, so you might as well run snow creatures to increase the snow count. A boreal druid is also a snow permanent.
Sure, which is exactly why I presented that option.
That combo only gets "R: Pashalik Mons deals 1 damage to any target, then 1 damage to any target." You net two mana off of Mana Echoes and one off of sacrificing a goblin to Skirk Prospector, but then you need to sacrifice the other one to Mons himself, leaving you one short.
Each of the two tokens entering play give you 3 mana (Pashalik Mons, Skirk Prospector, the other token each share a type with the token), possibly 4 if the token sees itself, sac 1 token to the Prospector for R and the other to Mons' ability to make 2 more? Not a judge but pretty sure this works because Mana Echoes doesn't say non-token
100% correct. The only 2 additions that needs to be noted here is you need one other goblin to start this up (not like that's very hard)along with a 3Rinvestment and that this also generates infinite colorless mana as a byproduct so do with that what you will.

Previously spoiled in a foreign printing but I hadn't seen it in English till now. First read thought it was of "wigs".

You're right, it's a horrible card. That's why it's restricted in Vintage.

Thanks for that.
Would this give Standstill any more playability in older formats?
Restore Balance would like to have a word with you.
