well, LOTV is currently so and so in this meta. it sucks against coco and fast decks like affinity, but really shines in grindy matchups(just ignore lingering souls for the sake of this conversation lol). in a grindy situation, id like my lilianas close to me. but right now id rather have damnations with all that affinity and coco.
I recently bought a card(goblin guide) from a trusted shop. since I have already transacted countless times with the shop, i didn't bother checking the card anymore. I then sleeved the card and shuffled it into my deck. However when I started playing with the whole deck, I noticed the different hue of the card. I haven't done the bend test yet, and it doesnt really pass the light test(grab an ordinary bright light and make it pass through the card) the same way my other 3 GGs do. I consulted one friend of mine, and he said that it could've been from the event deck (i researched, GG was part of a Mirrodin Besieged event deck).
Now how can you differentiate a card from an event deck with poor quality from a fake one?
If you got cards in a deal that were so cheap because they had pentel pen marks on them, and now you wanted to remove them, what the best way that you already tried? I am looking up "pentelpen erasers" on google and i dont know if they work and i might fear that they would damage the card.
I haven't played modern after treasure cruise was banned, though i scroll through top decklists now and then.
i noticed that people dont run the whole 4 manland package, usually just 3. why do you think people do this nowadays?
also here's my list
4 Marsh Flats
4 Verdant Catacombs
2 Windswept Heath
3 Stirring Wildwood (cut this down to 3, and replaced it with a twilight mire, sometimes I am short of black mana)
1 Twilight Mire
1 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
1 Vault of the Archangel
2 Godless Shrine
2 Overgrown Tomb
1 Temple Garden
2 Swamp
1 Forest
1 Plains
wow! i don't have those, but even if I had them DCI blings, wouldn't dare to shuffle them in my deck lol. It's something like what I personally saw in a GP, he was shuffling his deck and about to sideboard, then I saw TWO SDCC Worldwakers and my jaw just dropped haha.
I remembered you were hated ptes back then. I guess rhinos nowadays forced you to play some.
I personally would like to have 25 lands now(if im not running nobles). Why? I don't want to miss land drop 1-5. the turn 5 discard to rhino is a very nice turn.
Last year, people were running 25 lands because they had 3-4 tec edges there. you could've ran with 24 lands last year because your curve usually stops at 3. your 4-5 cmcs are usually one ofs like thrun, batterskull.
nobody uses bobs today. is it because burn is still prevalent? also i noticed that some junk lists without dorks run 24 lands. are they hedging against pte as a way of hitting land drops nowadays?

I guess ill just sit down and play with them, and call it a day.

mirror - feed the clan? you should have a batterskull/thrun of slot here.
DnT and Hatebears is a midrange/control deck in the guise of little white men/animals/things, and they hardly have vanilla creatures as proof =))
