Do you think Vanguard has a chance to return?

Since it'simpler and less complicated than the other singleton/highlander sub variants.

no commander damage, no casting cost other than being the avatar that having slight modifiers on player stats and game like draw count, starting hand cards, starting life, maximum hand limit, and etc.

A re-work vanguard cards playable to pair with the basic 60 card deck? or something in another singeton format.

WOTC still keep on with Planeschase right.

I also miss THEROS Challenge Deck like the Battle of the Horde. those horde auto pilot deck are kinda fun as a single player and multiplayer gimik.

a phyrexian invasion, nicolbolas and eldrazi challenge deck would be interesting

for tribal it's kinda like creature type right?

I wonder how cavern of souls would work with infect creatures arent they are now phyrexians?

they became powerful now.

I still bother why WOTC decides to nerf and Errata the Rebels of Timespiral and Mercadian Masques to search only "REBEL Permanent cards" instead of "Rebel Cards" like WOTC just prevent Rebels fetching "Changeling SPELLS" and other "Tribal Spells" like sorcery and instants.

while we are seeing REBELs in ONE phyrexian but mostly in equipment token cards. I wonder why they are so leaving REBELs behind while buffing phyrexian so hard.

Regarding Atraxa do you think that tribal would have a chance to return or gone for good.

I mean wotc can go in all kind of directions. I will only mention that the ranking from Mark Rosewater for the likelihood of a returning planeswalker in a standard set is called venser scale. And Venser is a 10 (very unlikely).

Other Planeswalker could die and be phyrexified afterwards, sure. I just think that Phyrexia has more benefits of get them still alive. Just my thoughts :).

I was thinking that they are planning a soft reboot using time travel.

Kinda reminds me of timespiral block that it had a different take on Dominaria Legends and Planeswalker.

so there might be a chance that some phyrexianized planeswalker from modern and premodern block to return restored?

I was thinking what if Maro hinting of "Another Sword of ______ & ______" is instead of the missing 2-color #MirrodinSwords is blue/red & green/red...

but rather a final 5-color Sword combined? a Colorless/Artifact Protection Sword? a Phyrexian Protection Sword?

or a beginning of a whole new 3-color cycle of Sword?
