WAR is a unique case in 30 years of history of game, and could only happened because it was a 36 PW set, which is something that this set is NOT. Repeating it won't make you more right.
Urza and Mishra were the absolute main protagonists of Brother War set, exactly as Chandra was the main protagonist of Core Set 20 and thats why she appeared also multiple times. Thalia, as all the episodes of march of the machines proves, it's so marginal she barely is even mentioned at all. If even this doesn't convince you, is not my problem bud.

She's monowhite as usual and her card is in Abzan color exclusively because of the Gitrog Monster, which is BG. There's nothing that should make us think that she will be a PW or dual colored for this set. Period.

Already got her card and as a creature. things are unpredicatable with mtg nowadays thats kinda like early 2k when core set are just reprints and 3 expansion comes in one block. things change now you get textless lands and foil token nowadays.

I still bother why WOTC decides to nerf and Errata the Rebels of Timespiral and Mercadian Masques to search only "REBEL Permanent cards" instead of "Rebel Cards" like WOTC just prevent Rebels fetching "Changeling SPELLS" and other "Tribal Spells" like sorcery and instants.
The reason all the cards that tutor Rebel cards directly to the battlefield have been clarified with a new wording that only allows you to tutor for a "Rebel permanent card" is simple: Only permanent cards can be put onto the battlefield anyway. You cannot put a noncreature card onto the battlefield. If they left off the word "permanent" you still wouldn't be able to get an instant with changeling onto the battlefield.
What that means is that the errata you mentions has no functional effect. The cards still work on the same set of cards as before. The new wording is only clarifying what the rules already require. Your point is not a valid one.

I rather would like some other kind of cycles for the 3-color combinations. Providing evergreen keywords to the equipped creature and choose 1 of 3 different in color effects when attacking for example.

On to the "technically" - if we get another Modern Masters (I don't see why we wouldn't), there could be a sword that gives protection from all colors and does really small things, like gain 1 life, 1 damage to target creature, exile a card from the graveyard, bounce a land you control to your hand, etc... A colorless Sword of ___ and ___ can be made, expressing the duality or artifacts maybe such themes or being mechanical, an animated object, or something more abstract. While this second part of this speculation is pretty far fetched, I wouldn't flinch if WotC did go that route. The Colorless one can also represent the two cards (traditionally) that are colorless: artifacts and lands... maybe like a Sword of Soil and Steel? Probably not the best example, but decided not to put more than a few seconds thought into it.
as for the 5-color final sword?
i believe well like see more WEDGE and SHARDS theme Swords for MODERN Master and COMMANDER Master.
Because we already see team up cards in MOTM and a final 5 card sword is too soon.
I would prefer the 5 color sword as a crafted TOKEN something that would came from MELD from ANY three Miran swords if you manage to have any swords with a representation each of the color in mtg on the battlefield and graveyard.
either using a enchantment, legendary blacksmith, planeswalker or another artifact(A COLORLESS BLANK SWORD) that would "Trigger" the fusion effect or melding of the mirran sword from graveyard and battlefield.
or that Colorless Blank Sword would flip to the 5-Color Sword by "triggering a condition" of the mirran sword from graveyard and battlefield.

i dont see WOTC doing a unearth type effect on sword because it's kinda close to light and shadow effect even its not exactly similar and different.
i dont think they are doing the same bland exact famous instant spell on sword.
Green and red sword effects are kinda extraordinary like the
"exile top 2 cards" on RED side of Forge and Frontier
if not bounce permanent on blue, chances are its return target instant spell in your graveyard to your hand that cost 2 or less.
