Those are fair points. I guess at the very least I'll stop linking to DeckStats ports of my lists in my primers.
Some notes - apparently my WB deck still features some green, and the lands that aren't green are apparently colourless. Also, given the fact that your pie charts are highlightable and clickable and something happens when you click, it'd be nice if it'd, say, bring up that selection of cards or something.

Dec 16, 2017Rumpy5897 posted a message on MTGSalvation's Deckbuilder is Here!I tossed my Daxos primer list up on it for fun, pieces are still green, the order of the cards within sections feels frankly random, all the enchantment creatures went to live with the enchantments. Not sure what's the point of the printing specification, or how to control it when pasting a list (i.e. 95+% use cases of the thing). Not really sure this was needed, in all honesty, given the fact the forums exist and have decks.Posted in: Articles

Hey look, it's a thing in the same general ballpark of Feather, previewed by the same guys.
I'm liking the mana base skeleton 3drinks has going on. So far the only reception Reflecting Pool has gotten in-thread was negative, but that thing is a house and I've shoed it into every single 2+ colour thing I ever built. True, it may not get you your missing colours, but it does tap for anything you already have available. And with a setup this elaborate, what you'll end up having is mostly anything you may desire.
Some other good budget stuff would be the tapped triland or Path of Ancestry (still budget relative to fetches). I'd agree Exotic Orchard comes online with three colours to work with - someone will usually have something for you to use. I also agree that it feels unreliable at two. It's a pity there's no real budget alternative to
(Fun fact - the one time I did a three colour deck I landed somewhere close to the 3drinks template, although with no ABUs/Cavern, sporting the triland and Orchard, and with pain lands instead of filters. That might have been deck specific, that thing gained so much life it ran Dark Tutelage over Phyrexian Arena for ease of casting it.)
Is Trophy Mage worth running for its minuscule three-piece toolbox? Does Blasting Station accomplish much when you're not doing the combo? I'm not sure you actually want Winds of Abandon, it feels like a very game-end alpha wipe.
Okay, enough Feather-related hijacking, sorry about that. I'd imagine Mox Diamond will probably be fine here, once you get a nice draw engine going you should be sitting on multiple lands in hand. It is quite high variance though, so you might have just ended up on the butt end of it the first time you crossed paths with it. You acknowledge Mistmeadow Witch as super slow, but it also does horrible things to people if you score a Containment Priest, so there's that?
I'd probably put in Generous Gift if I were you, maybe over Unexpectedly Absent. Don't forget you can pop it on Ephara herself in an emergency to turn it into a cantrip.
