Call me crazy, but I haven't seen a compelling reason to use Nissa, Worldwaker in this list. I don't have many forests to untap, and I don't like the idea of leaving the forests I may have on the battlefield open to both creature and land removal. Granted I haven't played with her, but everytime I've played against Nissa she either gets countered or killed and my opponent loses at least one land to removal, often a critical land to hit multiple green symbols in a spells casting cost. I just don't see the value in Nissa outside of mono green, or G/x.
I feel kiora synergizes a better with courser and a multi color list, because she helps get enough of all your colors. I have added in 2 abrupt decays I was able to score earlier, and plan to grab 2 more Hero's downfall later in the week. After pondering it today, I am going to have a control heavy sideboard at least initially. Something like :
I quit playing magic for a number of years, and when I recently got back into it the one part of my collection I regretted selling most back in the day was my stash of lands. A good land base really is the crux to a good deck. I'd say hang on to them, if you stick with the game, eventually they will become useful and you won't have to re-purchase them for more later.
I've been working on this deck and would like to go try a FNM this week. We had a new store open locally so I'd like to support their efforts by participating in their events. I haven't had much chance to test this deck really and do not have a sideboard, or any experience making a sideboard as I've mostly played casual and edh up to this point. I know I'd like one more kiora, the crashing wave and one or two more hero's downfall but aside from that am drawing a blank on what to tweak. I could pull my one abrupt decay out of a commander deck and have 2 overgrown tomb I could put in as well. Not looking to spend money on RTR cards at this point.
Hello. I've just returned to magic after many years away. Last set I remember playing before theros was portal. Now that I'm back, I've grown fond of edh. Just joining the site for the info, and the advice. It seems like a good place to keep up to date and improve my decks.
There are quite a few good cards that are uncommon or common in theros really. What kind of play style do you prefer? Control, aggro, midrange?

2 bile blight
2 Hero's downfall
2 drown in sorrow
2 dissipate
2 reclamation sage
2 phyrexian revoker
1 ætherspouts
Maybe swap in an unravel the æther.
4 Forest
3 Island
2 Swamp
2 Mana Confluence
4 Temple of Malady
4 Temple of Mystery
4 Temple of Deceit
1 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
4 Courser of Kruphix
4 Prognostic Sphinx
4 Reaper of the Wilds
3 Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver
2 Kiora, the Crashing Wave
1 Jace, the Living Guildpact
1 Garruk, Apex Predator
1 Vraska the Unseen
2 Silence the Believers
2 Bile Blight
3 Dissolve
1 Hero's Downfall

Anybody got any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
EDIT- Figured out the deck tag.
