Sep 6, 2007Photon Eater posted a message on Gragargrgh! That doesn't mean you aren't bi, though. Up until I actually met Josh and had known him for several months, I couldn't even fathom forming an emotional attachment to a man. Being attracted to men at all suggests bisexuality, however. Doesn't mean it will develop further, but it does mean something could be there.Posted in: FL's Fey Dreamhold

Ranting, venting, and all of that is healthy, and you shouldn't be ashamed of it, but at the same time, you shouldn't feel obligated to do it unless you are comfortable doing so.Posted in: FL's Fey Dreamhold
Lastly, I also don't feel much like talking in the House anymore. Probably because so little talking goes on there anymore. It's mostly just a handful of people prattling on and drowning everyone else out. -

Secondly, I don't mean to sound like a recruiter, but if you find men attractive, you may not be entirely straight. You may favor one sex over the other, but if you can look at a man and find him attractive, there's something going on. -

Did you think you offended me, or did I frustrate you? Because I honestly don't understand what happened as far as this is concerned. -

Secondly, stop self-deprecating, we're all a bunch of Magic nerds pretending to drink coffee in a pretend store. We ALL need lives. Just calm down, and try not to take it so personally, no one is bothered by you or anything you did. We are just wary of the conversations becoming too quick because it has historically caused problems. -

I think they are really trying to draw more interest to MTGO, but I think that the heart of MTG will always be in Paper Magic- and if it ever becomes otherwise, I think the game will have jumped the shark big time... even more than FS! - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.
June 5th, 2010.
I think you'll like Scribblenauts, it's pretty entertaining. I'll admit, the main game mode does tend to wear itself thin before too long when you realize that there are a couple dozen words that can be used to solve most problems, but if you just try not to gun for the gold and go with your creative instincts, it's pretty amazing.
Yeah, I know that. It's not a big deal if it is too much trouble. Honestly, and don't take this the wrong way, I had already sorted of counted you out, given that we've known for some time that there would be difficulty getting back into Ohio around then.
As long as it's not too close to the date. Making this work on my budget means planning a lot of things way in advance, so the sooner I can know, the better. I would prefer it if everyone had RSVPed by January at the latest.
I was really excited for that game, as I'm a huge and long time Star Ocean fan, but I was a little disappointed by it. It was a bit too linear for my tastes, and I've never really taken a liking to Edge. At all. He sort of makes me crazy. My nickname for him is "Baby Head".
Well, whatever you can manage is fine, like I said, it's much more important that you show up in June for the wedding, especially since you so foolishly volunteered to help. By the way, do you have any experience carrying a giant litter?
But at any rate, if the fall trip is going to be a problem of any kind, I wouldn't worry about it too much. You know damn well there isn't anything to do here, and seeing the world's biggest basket and watching me girlishly try to finish off ***** drinks at the Lock aren't exactly the kind of memories that carry a lot of replay value.
Speaking of which, are you still planning on coming out again sometime this fall?
Would it have been too much to ask for a tacked on Celine Dion reference?
And if you do get more comfortable? I mean, it's always a good idea to get a higher education, but if you are happy otherwise... what's the drawback, exactly? Don't cite lower earning potential, either- because the operative part of the entire scenario is comfortable, meaning you're not struggling.
Obviously, if you have a personal goal you can't risk, it's a problem, but if you are still sort of finding your place, it isn't a terrible idea. Just be sure you aren't banking entirely on her finishing school and supporting you later to get back to school, because plans can always change.
It would have been nice for us to have been able to do that, but considering the hell my mother put me through trying to establish a functional date, trying to shoot for something that specific would have been a ridiculous endeavor.
Are you implying that her education is very expensive, and as such she won't be able to contribute much to your household expenses, or is it more of a psychological thing where she'll somehow make you feel like a schlub for not being in school at the moment?
Yeah, and seriously, friendship? What are you, lesbians from the 1800s?
What the hell, why do I always hear this? I'm not Anton LaVey for pity's sake! Just talk to me, you big woman. I promise I won't flood your screen with porn and swear words and get you kicked off campus or anything remotely like that. If anyone asks, just tell them I'm your dad or something.
The first year anniversary is always pretty special, but it's amazing how things take off after that point. The first year is almost like a gestation period for the relationship as a whole, everything after that gets a lot more serious and grounded. It's a pretty big milestone.
I second this, or even just taking a few classes at a local community college on the weekends if you can. If money and time is an issue, you may be able to get some financial aid to help pay for housing so you can cut back on work, giving you time to do both. Or maybe even look for a roommate to cut costs? I'm not sure exactly what the situation is, so I can't say if that will help or not, but bills are easier to pay if you can split them- in general, anyway.
Oh God, none of that now.
What date, exactly? On the 22nd of October, we "celebrate" (I say celebrate in quotations because we probably won't do much of anything) our 7th. It will be weird to change that come next June. I may petition we don't just for the sake of simplicity. It'll be a bit strange going from "we've been together for 7 years" to saying "we've been married 1 year" or whatever. It's almost like a reset. Of course, we could also do that whole "been together X years, married for X-7" thing, but that would make us sound like one of those crazy on-again-off-again couples, I think. Whatever, ultimately, I'm too drunk to really care most of the time, anyway.
Oh God, I've got to get out of here and fast, then.
I am not on messengers much anymore. I hate to admit it, but basically the best way to contact me online is via Facebook, which means at some point I either became an obnoxious college sophomore or her mother.
Primarily, outside of that, I've been keeping pretty busy. We spend a lot of time with family, Josh and I somehow picked up a hag somewhere along the lines, and we spend a lot of time with her. Plus, there's wedding planning and baby planning, both of which are going too fast and too slowly at the same time. When we have free time, it's usually spent on a game of D&D or playtesting M20. Haven't touched MTG or done the whole online community thing for a good long time, but for some reason or other tonight, I suppose I got bored enough to dive back in.
Primarily, I had set the whole night aside to see just how many obscene things I can do with the game Scribblenauts, but my preorder copy has mysteriously vanished in the mail, leaving me with nothing better to do.
That sucks, I'm sorry to hear that, buddy. That is how life goes, though. You'll bounce back, and be better for it in the long run, though.
Typical. I shoot you down and suddenly you have to go making me sound all skanky.
Yeah, I don't see this being much more than a one night gig with the potential for an encore presentation.
At risk of sounding cliche as all hell, welcome to life?
Fixed that for you, sir.
So, seriously, though, Danica doesn't post here anymore?
No fair, I wanted to make that joke.
So it's 350 a month plus utilities, or 350 a month including utilities?
Regardless, it should be fine for a first place, though. It's a liberating experience. How much time have you spent walking around naked? Wait, don't answer that.
So, what's up with this place? Who's gone, who's new, who's dead, who turned evil, who's frightening the hell out of Sepiriel?
Alacar, I don't care about all of that.
I guess it's true what they say, you can't go home again, though.
It has been a pretty good year for me, but you know most of that already. It's nice that you are out of your parents place, that's always exciting. How big is your apartment? 350 a month is sounding almost too good if it is a two bedroom deal.
