Well, it seems that the FanArt policy of WotC would allow Jason Felix to do this:

    https://company.wizards.com/en/legal/fancontentpolicy

So, while I understand that the fan-artist is angry, Jason Felix is allowed to do what he did. So, one more time, I don't understand the move on WotC to "suspend" Jason Felix, one more time caring more about the internet mob than his own rules.

Tarmogoyf with the old art? I'm guessing what's the key art on the booster box then:rolleyes2:

Is there any magic trigger that makes that commons which gets above 3$ cannot be printed never again as commons or what?

Pity the dinosaur doesn't have explore, so we could call it "Doran, the explorer"

Yes, Mother of Runes fits perfectly the rare slot for limited purposes...which should made us think if a set whose major intention is increase the availability of eternal staples should care about drafting like any other Standard set. In my humble opinion, it shouldn't, specially when there's no GPs like Modern Masters, but it seems that Wizards doesn't think the same.

Oh look, WOTC is making another stupid decision that alienates more of their fans and customers, why am I not surprised?

Can you answer why WotC would allow proxies? Like in what way that would benefit them as a business or anything?

Well, IMHO this new policy should avoid cards in the Reserved List, because it refers to cards that Wizards doesn't have interest in reprint and they aren't going to make any money with this cards. Is silly as iTunes trying to fight piracy of songs they didn't sell. You want people to stop playing proxys? Ok, give them an alternative to buy them (like Legacy or Vintage Masters in paper). Otherwise, I'm pretty sure you're annoying more players than the benefits you can get by forbidding proxys.

Seriously, can someone explain me why this garbage is rare and not uncommon? Sure, i'm pretty sure that will be playable in limited, but with that huge restriction it could be uncommon without any problem.

Yeah, but probably not the way you're thinking about.

Yeah, I was mistaken, I'd say 2 Temple of Mistery instead the Temple of Silence (which makes non sense because i'm not playing black) which means 6 soures of blue mana. The other option i'm managing it to put a lonely Island and some flooded strand, which plays very well also with Courser of Kruphix, but I need to test it.

Yesterday I played my second GD after winning the first one, and went pretty bad, so I'm thinking to tweak the mana base a little bit to add 4 Stubborn Denial on the sideboard instead the Starfield and the 3 Plummets. The thing is that the stubborn goes against the same decks that I usually put this 4 cards, although for different reasons, that's UB Control, but in this matchup just one sigil is usually enough to put a pair of angels and start beating while keeping the rest of cards in hand, and the denial is great also against Abzan post side to counter his enchantment hate. The only card that scares me is Stormbreath Dragon, but fortunately I'm not seeing a lot in my LGS meta (only 1 guy plays them, and just in his Sideboard).
My only doubt is how to tweak the mana base without ruining the deck, my idea in mind is change the 4 Blossoming Sands for 2 Temple of silence and 2 Temple of Enlightment, and changing 1 forest and 1 plains for 2 Mana confluence, but as I said, it's just an untested idea. Wednesday there's a small standard tournament so I will test there how it works this iteration.

I'm playing the last decklist post by Kyle Boggemes and IMHO it's freakin' insane, but probably because in my LGS nobody expect it and no one is really prepared against it. I went 5-0 on the FNM with the PT list (won vs Mono-red heroic rogue, vs 3 Abzan Control and 1 vs Abzan Megamorph), and the only deck that puts my in real trouble was the megamorph, and that's because the Fleecemane Lion, 'cause I side out the sheeps and have to race the lions and save the banishing lights for his Sorin. Against Abzan control the only card I care about is Ugin, which is really destructive if I don't play around the dragon spirit, but otherwise the army of Angels will finish him quickly.

Yesterday I went to the Game day with this list and runned 3-0-2, then won the tournament in the top8:

Play against 2 Abzan Controls, 1 Abzan Megamorph, 1 Monored (PT list), 1 Jeskai Tempo and UR Thopters, and I'm really surprised how good it works. One more time, I only was scared against the Abzan Megamorph and the Jeskai Tempo, which I honestly think that it's the worst matchup. Put lots of pressure with Mantis Riders while his huge amount of burn kill our engine (heralds, coursers, etc.), and if they had Soulfire Grand Master, the life advantage goes too ridiculous, I don't know how I won this matchup yet.

And so it goes, IMHO it's one of the best decks on the actual meta, at least while people don't put back to nature on his SB, and I don't see the point to add black. It's great against aggro decks due to his multiple lifegains and walls like Courser of Kruphix and Nyx-fleece Ram, and against slowliest decks resolving a Sigil of the Empty throne will put me on a really high advantage. The only pairing I left to play probably is UB Dragons and Gr Devotion, which I don't know how it will works.

I dropped from the GP Utrecht with a Goyf and a Cryptic command and I didn't regret my decision. My friends keep telling me that it was a mistake and I should have keep playing, but I don't see clearly why. I'm a casual player, so my options to made day 2 were quite low, and instead I went to play side events (among them a smaller Sealed MM15 tournament, so no one can tell me that I didn't play the format), where I score better and take some points to exchange on the prize wall, and I could play probably the best format I saw in my entire life, Chaos Draft Laughing .

One of the worsts limited environments I played in my entire life, basically. I played 2 preleases with Ojutai and Atarka and went 4-1-2 and 5-2, so I'm not crying because I failed and wanna blame everybody except me. All these points are just my impression, so probably I could be wrong on most of it.

    1) The mana fixing is TERRIBLE, which leads you to play 2 colors only and maybe splash to a third one if you you're lucky enough to open a pair of Evolving Wilds. The fact that the mana rocks are uncommon doesn't help at all.

    2) The seeded boosters is the typical idea that could be great but it's shaped horribly. First of all, in a format without common mana fixing, the seeded booster must guarantee the monument of your brood. Neither prelease I get any of the monuments of my clan, so I played a lot of matches with the Ojutai one praying to draw the second plains or island. Special mention to Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest, which I opened on my fate reforged booster and cannot pay the ability on the whole tournament because the double white requirement. Fantastic. Secondly, I seriously wanna meet the guy who decide the promo card pool, just to thank him/her because it's hard to do it worse. My 2 promos were Stratus Walker and Volcanic Vision. I could complain about the first one being promo while there are plenty of huge bombs to put inside, but at least is a 3/2 flying that could stop a trick of the oponent. But Volcanic vision is inexplicable. Unplayable in any existing format and most of the future ones, putting this as a promo it's about being a terribly bad person, like the Grinch or Cruella de Vil. I totally agree that both cards must be rare for being part of a cycle and complexity terms respectively, but putting in a product that comes up to help playing the prelease it's totally insane.

    3) Dash when most of the instant removal on the common ground are combat tricks, specially Sprinting Warbrute. Deciding that this ogre should be common, or put it 4 of toughness, deserve an applause for one of the worst decisions taken. If the ogre was a 5/3 it'll be more balanced, but in it's actual form I could see how most of the games this silly creature deals 10-15 damage easily, unless your oponent want to chumpblock again and again. And when you achieve to kill this bastard, most of the time it will be a 2x1, maybe because you double block or because you're forced to spend a combat trick to deal with it, because with his stats he'll probably kill your creature too. Bonus points if you have a Warbringer in your deck.

And that's all. I enjoyed Khans and Fate reforged a lot more than this one,

I got a Stratus Dancer as a promo on my Ojutai seeded booster while other players opened some limited bombs like regents or other huge creatures. At least commands warrant most of the time for a 2x1. Pretty lame that the blue get punished this way, first without an older Khan and later with this bomb-slot wasted on this mediocre creature.

It seems that they spin some kind of roulette for putting watermarks on the cards on this block. I can't see why Assault doesn't have the Dromoka one, when it feels more clan-related than, for example, Meandering Towershell or Hooded Hydra on khans.
