I didn't read past the first post, just FYI.

I've talked to CaseLogik and let him know if you guys would like me banned, I understand.

Personal issues caused me to really check out for a long while, but no excuses, if you want blood feel free to make the ban official once everyone has their product. It's understandable.

Enough with the long drawn out posts and whining though, the mod's didn't do anything wrong.

The United States is far too irresponsible to truly deserve their right to own fire arms, another great show of it!

Everyone whines and says they deserve to have them in case their government goes tyrannical on them - HA! You silly sheep, this government controls you far more with the illusion of freedoms and democracy than they could a totalitarian state - wise up.

Everyone whines and says they need guns in the home to protect themselves from burglars. I'd love to see the statistic of how many burglars are killed each year from breaking in to a home with a hand gun vs. how many people are killed by accident or through regretful altercation because of a guns prescence in the home.

    Sorry about your day man.

Will Militia's Pride make 'white weenie' viable again for the standard enviroment?

It seems to me that there's a lot of fantastic cards in standard for white to do this at this point.

    Basically..

Warnings go out to people you like, newbies or in minor instances.

Infractions go out to people you don't like, veterans who know better, or annoyances.

I want to publicly state that Jabberwocky is a fantastic choice for this position.

Jabberwocky served as a friend and confidant in many cases throughout my time here at Salvation - I trust in his abilities 100% and look forward to a strong future with him helping out the staff.

    Great choice Lesurgo.

Sorry? I thought the Holocaust was the whole reason of WWII? Or did the government just go: Yeah, we're going there to kill those German bastards 'cause we don't like their ugly German faces.

The holocaust was not the reason why the United States entered WWII, even if it should have been reason enough. Just as slavery was not the reason for the Civil War even if it should have been reason enough...

    Pretty dumb post.

    Some pretty dumb responses.

It's not to be celebrated, those who died don't want us to be sad, but they probably do want to be honored in a way those who died in such a way should be - not with pink text and celebration glee.

That question's answer lay in the mirror, my friend.

Thank you, to everyone, for the kind words - I've had nothing but positive comments and it's great to know my work was appreciated.

Who knows, maybe I'll be back someday to infract you again Smile

    Until then,

Looking at an inbox of 26 unread PM's, I have to wonder...

How do you start one of these emo, I’m so sorry and I’m gonna miss you posts anyways? I suppose that’s as good a beginning as any, right?

I came to this site nearly 2 years ago during a time when I was returning to Magic – the reason for my return (one of many throughout my life) was the need for a distraction in the form of the best card game every created. Ya, I said it. I love this game, but I’m older now and I never had the time to be all that competitive – never had the money to really own what I wanted – I think I came back to remember the good old days and get a few more laughs and frustrations out of it.

However, now that the distraction isn’t too effective, I sold my collection and stopped hitting up the local shops, keeping in touch with the local scene – attending events, even signing on to the forums as of late. The cherry on top of my son, a failing relationship and all the other responsibilities we have in life – you know of which I speak of.

When I was first coming up, when I first joined the site – I was hungry to help, hungry to strike down violators and hungry be the best trader on the site only to become moderator. You should know becoming moderator was nothing less than the ultimate goal for me on the site – it was only a matter of time before I made it a reality.

These days, I find it tedious and tiring signing on to the forums to help, to talk, I guess my mind just isn’t here. I don’t doubt that one day I’ll play again, I’m sure I’ll be on the forums all the time still, but with no obligation and responsibility.

Some time ago, someone called me out for losing what I had been, I eagerly defended myself – he had no idea what he was talking about! Or did he? Despite being a complete lil’ ***** at every opportunity to myself and the rest of the traders I’ve become friends with, he was on to something and I’m willing to admit it – now – now, that I see it myself. It’s nothing to be ashamed of, because I’m here admitting it and here passing on the torch in order to keep this site on top of its game, on top of the ladder.

I believe in this site, I always have else I wouldn’t have invested any time in it. I would never have invested like this to MOTL, POJO, WOTC, none of them – Sally, Salvation, is special.

I want to give out some shot outs to those who I’ve become friends with throughout my time here, I’ll still talk to you guys here and there, but why not make it public – this is MY thread right?

CaseLogik – You’ve been a true friend, there for me on and off of the site – more so than anyone will know. You have the integrity to be a strong moderator, if not an admin someday in the future. I’ve never questioned your dedication to this site or your character off of it, you are as real as it gets. I pass the torch to you, directly, as I know I can let it go safe and secure, to you.

Annorax – Late night value talks and Ebay sniping was the focus of our conversations and it was always a good time. I trust your dedication to the site, as well, as I know you are here for business and little nonsense.

SapphireTri – It was a hard thing to see you go, but we kept on. You showed me some of the ropes and I showed you how to spell – maybe you’ll return to staff, maybe not. Either way, take care of yourself.

Consume Spirit – My homeboy from the get-go, the plan was to moderate things together, wasn’t it? I suppose it didn’t quite work out, but I always thought you were a stand-up guy, finish up school and make it happen bro.

JabberWocky – What more can I say about this guy? To those who know M., you know where I’m coming from, or maybe you don’t – M. you are a shining example of a good person, a strong character and a fantastic online trader. I still have my bird of paradise, still haven’t started American Gods, but I think about them all the time. I wish you and your wife nothing but happiness and prosperity, truly.

RunTru1 – Beezee! I think we made a quick transition from Magic buddies to homeboys, I suppose we had enough in common outside of this game and you always knew I was half way in and half way out. I appreciate everything you’ve said to me and your number ain’t leavin’ my celly, I’ll see you in the city.

Adrian – No matter what is said – I know the truth about you so I shot you out. Your number ain’t leavin’ my celly either – I’ll see you when you make it out to Cali, no doubt.

Magik – Proof that international traders don’t deserve the stereotype – much respect to you. Good luck, finish up the army and be done with it man.

As I try to shot out everyone I realize it’s just too much, so I’ll stop there – I’m not leaving anyone out intentionally, but this list could go on and on.

I just want you all to know how much I willing gave for this site and community and that I don’t regret any of the time or energy spent – with this in mind I hope there’s no hate for my departure. I leave now for the better of the site - not because I have issues with it. Because I love it and want to see it grow - I think I've added all the growth I can right now in my life, now I let another take my place.

    All my love and respect,

    The one and only,

    JayC

P.S. - Anyone with pending transactions with me, please don't trip, they'll be handled - of course.

i just dont think that lsv's rain will last long, i guess we'll just have to see what happens to me him at pro tour valencia,

i got 10 bucks, says he does horrible, and i mean horrible, or makes top 8 and has a qauter finish

You can't even spell 'reign', jeezuz.

LSV is good enough to get an acronym that people recognize, that's for sure. Glad you proved the point.

He's a fantastic player, I played with him in Berkeley here and there for a year - always on top of his game, always friendly and willing to help. He's no fluke, he's been doing big things for quite a while.

Bad mouth him some more and look jealous, whatever works for you man.
