If it tests well why not just make this mulligan standard and draft exclusive and use the current one for other eternal formats? Pretty sure all of us are used to using different mulligan rules for stuff like commander, this would be no different.

but instead it auto passes like it does when the game thinks you either passed priority or have nothing to play, and he was able to immediately block.
The game was made with the by-default assumption that players usually pass at this point.
There are some settings you need to modify in order to enjoy priority in this specific moment.

But i already disabled all auto features AND I put on full control just in case during scenarios like these, Frown

Not to continue bumping a solved thread, but just letting you know how it went down, basically swung in with like 6 mana open, had lethal, knew about the dawn, so I figured if that was his only out, i would let it pop, then before blockers assassins trophy it.
But, after declaring my attacks and letting the effect resolve, i expected the game to stop and say yellow button 'blockers', thus allowing me to kill creatures with instant speed stuff, but instead it auto passes like it does when the game thinks you either passed priority or have nothing to play, and he was able to immediately block. Literally cost me that game cause he was control and stabilized at 1 life, felt bad, Frown (still won the match though)

Thats what I thought, guess Magic Arena isn't coded to let that work then or is a bug, I'll make sure to report on it then, thank you for the confirmation! Grin

So lets say my opponent uses Dawn of Hope to summon a guy after attackers are declared but before blockers step. I assume I can destroy it before blockers, no? I ask cause i tried doing this in MTGArena, and despite trying my best, being aware of button queues and continuously putting on full control, the game allowed the soldier to resolve and block before i had a chance to assassins trophy it.

Don't play vraska that turn then, your playing gb colors, do literally anythin else, use vraskas contempt, assassins trophy, the new black removal, both the one drop and 4 drop , you can literally say the same thing for Karn, would you play a karn into a turned on rhonas, or any threat that you needed to answer immediately? No unless you had no other option.
Karn can make a chump blocker if need be, or at worst replace himself with another card. And on an empty board, Karn actually provides card advantage. Vraska does none of those things.

You say to do literally anything else, in which case why are you playing Vraska in the first place? She doesn't provide any actual CA against control decks, leaves herself at 1 loyalty if she removes something against an aggro deck, and against a midrange deck I'd rather have literally any other card you listed instead of Vraska. So why, exactly, would you ever play her to begin with?

She does provide card advantage if she just straights removes anything from board, as there is still a walker to deal with. Her plus is there for late game land flood filtering or even just searching for more answers and threats. She has an actual wincon which control would not like to see go off.
Karn is a card draw engine who's minus was ever only relevant when he was played in mono blue std storm, or turbo fog as a slow win condition. Pumping out a 1/1 and leaving a 3 loyalty karn against a 4 drop is more than likely going to get karned killed, since most threats at 4 mana or above have evasion. He can't actually touch anything the turn he comes out either and even his card advantage is slow at times. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying karn is bad or that vraska is chandra levels, I'm just saying don't underestimate what a repeatable abrupt decay is capable of. And don't overestimate what a card engine can do either, especially one that takes 2 to 3 turns to get a card you actually want out of it.
And I just want to reiterate, abrupt decay is pretty good even vs control decks, as they play things like search for azcanta, seal away, etc, etc. She's basically a universal answer for the smaller things, and I played enough magic to know a rechargeable universal answer is standard playworthy.

"She does nothing the turn she's dropped."
    False
She has a minus and can more likely clear a decent threat if dropped early, from steel leaf to one whirley boi. Can also pop artifacts and enchantments that may be bothersome like a seal away, song of freylaise set up, history of bananas. Hell, even other walkers at 3 cmc. If they are no threats worth burning your loyalty on then plus up and set up a win con.
Vraska, Golgari Queen has a conditional minus. If you are on the draw and your opponent plays literally any 4-drop creature, what exactly is your plan? Run Vraska out into it and plus her for no value to maybe soak up some damage? That is not where I want to be with my 4-drops. She's bad when you're behind, mediocre when you're ahead and merely passable at parity. That's simply not good enough for a Planeswalker, especially when she's competing with Karn, Scion of Urza who can fit into any deck. She's a $5 card that will see fringe Standard play, if that.

I'm just going to clarify and amend a few things.

"She does nothing the turn she's dropped."

I'm also going to add if your against a zoo or midrange build, you can just drop her, pop someone and continue to play the game and if she's not answered, pop more creatures, literally repeatable removal.

We also have quite a couple fodder creatures we can sac to her, from useless mid game mana dorks, stitched supplier, zealot, ravenous chubacabra, not to mention treasure tokens are still a thing. And there are quite a bit of treasure makers. Surprised no one mentioned that.

Hilariously she really synergizes with the other vraska, her plus being able to pop the pirate or treasure for life and card draw and her ultimate basically making the pirates into lethal creatures.

Came up in fnm, from my understanding exert is an activated ability but the damage portion is attached to a trigger ability, so if I attacked with Glorybringer, would I have to pay 2 extra mana to burn down my opponents Kopala, Warden of Waves or nah? Please explain thoroughly why or why not, pls and ty,:3

SSG doesnt help hollow one, SSG exiles right?

That is correct, however, one extra red mana can help you cycle one more creature to get it to it's 1-0 mana costs, or casts it when it's only 1 mana and you're tapped out.

People are rushing to post without actually looking at the math of what they're saying, and the fact that it...doesn't work.

Playing this later does not make it good. That's even more lands you can't untap; that's far worse. This doesn't magically choose only the lands you tapped to pay for it.

Playing this with mana dorks while keeping lands untapped does not make it good. That's making those lands unusable on that turn (since you're refusing to tap them) instead of on the next turn. Same thing, different time.

Playing this on turn 2 does not make it good. That's an aggro strat, so you're almost entirely giving up turn 3 in an aggro deck. Which is, uh, suicide.

There are ways to make the card more useful -- mostly edge cases in which you play multiple Last Stands in the same turn so that the drawback is mitigated -- but the above methods are not among them.

Don't forget the fact that it costs GG, that's so restrictive to a mana base and sometimes makes ur land drop sequences bad if ur trying to force this out turn 2 as well. Not to mention lack of evasion and trades with heart of Kiran as well if need be.

I like how everyone's comparing it to either index or see the unwritten when index doesn't let you mid game card draw or cheat a creature in and see the unwritten cant early game scuplt your draws for the cheap cost of u.
