I'm assuming the ward counters actually do something...?
... I am an idiot.
Snakes Ward {U}
Enchantment
~ comes into play with 3 ward counters on it.
If you would gain a poison counter, remove a ward counter and target opponent gains a poison counter instead.
I think its a bad move on the Casino's side. They slant the odds in their favor, yet the one time the odd's are in the other's favor (Even though this was because they got 10 times as much credit) they sue.
Just to clear up though, it appeared that the players put in a dollar, and played with all ten of the dollars. I may be mis-understanding this, but they didn't take advantage of it, just played it with good odds. Right?
I agree. And about the Extripate, as you saw in the sample games, I didn't go through very many Magi. Only 3. In two games. So often you do just randomly play items and no magi.
I think the Invasion lands are acually a really good idea. Just 4? To replace the spots that were basics/Watery Graves?
In the article "What's the Problem?" on Wizards.com, they mention that the plane of Lorwyn is "(a much kinder place)". Seems as if we will be off the terrible conditions and troubles of Dominaria. Does this carry any weight? If so, what does this mean?
You can also get StP. Put that on the list for reasons to splash white on goblins.
Personally, I have been testing Necromagus. THe main reason it could exist is that all the hate for Belcher/TES is mostly going for the goblins. A reliable non-ETW based kill could be viable, plus its hella fun.
Chant would be an interesting take, but would you opt for Chant or Swarm? Getting swarm down before the combo goes off would allow for more mana.
@Stupid: I understand that and Extripate on Magus would pretty much kill the deck, but then again, so does Tremor on EtW. The idea that there will be a large amount of hate on ETW due to the shift of that could allow for this deck to exist.
On another note, legacy tourny the 24th at G3. Whos going?

@Jank: IF you have a harder time reading the font, changing the forum skin to "Dark" gives more contrast.
