That's not an argument. Keep your feelings out. Attack the argument not the person.

Even if what you are saying is true, which I highly doubt is true and am too lazy to research, Trump has shown a commitment to end illegal immigration and protect this country from the muslims who just yesterday killed 80+ people in France... for this reason(and others too) I will continue to support him...

Xenophobia- Trump has a goal. His goal is to make life better for the American people. He has never said anything Xenophobic before. His plan to ban illegals is for the betterment of the lives of the American people.

False claims and scare tactics- please clarify...

In addition to being bad for the economy and driving out Western culture, Trump supporters support his plan to ban illegals because illegals arent the best people in the world. Their children are crowding American schools, and school teachers are having to sacrifice their time to teach them because they arent at the same level as other students. I know there are plenty of smart, successful, latinos out there who are good people. I have latino friends in fact. But these illegals have higher rates of crime than the average population and they arent the best people coming from their location. Every country and region and group has good people and not so good people, illegal immigrant populations have higher rates of the not so good people(not all illegals are not so good people, some illegals are great people)

    @Tiax
I prefer my culture and values to other's cultures and values. IF this means xenophobia, then I am xenophobic.
You have not read the whole thread but I won't be going over points we have beaten to death.

Legal immigrants - hold up, we are talking about illegal immigrants not legal immigrants so this is irrelevant.

help the economy of the nation they move too and Illegal immigrants from Mexico commit fewer crimes than the average citizen. Its all been discussed and cited before. Additionally no one has ever stated we should not deal with the illegal immigration issue. Its just that Trump's plan to do so is very poorly thought out and the wall only serves as a buzz word for his campaign.

How is it poorly thought out?

Trump's policies are ineffective. His wall will be costly and do little to curb illegal immigration and his plan to ban Muslims would be implemented by simply asking people if they are Muslim. How many terrorists do you think that will keep out?

He will ban people that live in Muslim countries to come to the US.

We are arguing about Trump's policies. My views about non-illegal immigration is irrelevant.

    Well, what you said was:

    Quote from MTGTCG »

That being said, Legal immigrants who are willing to give more than they take, and who are willing to adopt the culture and values of the country they are immigrating to are perfectly fine to these Americans who support Trump. Problem is most illegals arent like that...

But it sounds like this isn't really the case. It sounds like most of the arguments presented about illegal immigrants are just as true of legal immigrants. The focus on illegal immigrants sounds like a cover for xenophobia to me.

It isnt xenophobia to prefer your own culture, values, and well-being to others.
The left loves to play the racist, xenophobic, islamaphobic e.t.c card alot. When arguing against a right winger just call em racist and you dont have to argue is what they are all about

@GhostDad plenty of non-kkk affiliated people support trump. Also, stop calling Trump names, we get enough of that from our media. Present real arguments or dont post at all.
    @Glamdring
Just look up Muslim rapes in Europe or something like that. Google is a thing man...

    From bottom to top

    1. Your liberal media wont tell you this but there has been a big problem in Europe with rapes and terrorist attacks since Muslims started pouring in.

    2. These illegal immigrants will obviously have lots of children who will grow up to recieve welfare themselves.

    3. There are plenty of Americans who are being forced to compete with illegals and you wouldn't like it if you had to.

    4. Illegal immigrants are bad for the economy and will vote for the left-wing. The fact that illegals are pouring into the country right now will slowly but surly turn American success backwords.

    5. Most people want to preserve their culture and values.

    6. You didnt even address the funeling of income into foreign countries and your welfare argument is addressed by me in #2.

    7. It is perfectly acceptable to control who comes in to your country. For some reason the left thinks this is racist...

Illegal Immigrants are funneling money to foreign countries and living off welfare which hurts the economy. Americans are tired of illegals pouring into the country. In 30 years, whites are said to become a minority in America. They are afraid of what is to come when their culture and values are dominated by other cultures and values. They dont want America to turn into a 3rd world country. They dont want to be forced into competition with illegals willing to work at low wages. They want to live in a society where people like themselves are the majority. There is nothing wrong with these beliefs.
That being said, Legal immigrants who are willing to give more than they take, and who are willing to adopt the culture and values of the country they are immigrating to are perfectly fine to these Americans who support Trump. Problem is most illegals arent like that...

A majority of Muslims support Sharia law and support the bad sides of their religion. The peaceful muslims you always hear about are a minority. If you look at what is happening to Europe, you will see the consequences of allowing Muslims to immigrate freely...

Why don't you run Nahiri, the Harbinger?
+2 can provide virtual card advantage(pitch a card you don't need), or you can choose not to discard
    -2 is flexible removal
-8 can grab cards like Rune-Scarred Demon or Kozilek, Butcher of Truth just to name a couple(and then bounces the creature back to hand so you can get that etb trigger another time)
It ticks up very quickly and is only 4 mana
Playing this card in Modern I am sure this could be a powerhouse in edh too...

Trump is being made look bad by the media. He isnt racist he has good reasons behind his policies. Illegal Immigrants have higher rates of crime than the average population(thats a fact not racism) and they hurt the economy... His ban on Muslim(middle eastern) travel is a tenporary ban to help keep America safe from terrorism. This is a valid reason because a nation should value the safety of its citizens.

Please stop banning cards... the banlist is fine right now.., infact id say that there are some cards in the banlist that didnt deserve a ban like Prophet and Sylvan Primordial. There are always going to cards in the format that are really good. All you are doing by banning is making the power level of the format lower. Your not making people happier because an OP card goes and the second in line becomes the new OP card e.t,c

So no one has any opinions about the RW version? At least try it out on Cockatrice or something... You'll be very suprised at how good Magus and Recruiter are... Sudden Demise really helps in the Elves matchup as well.
Edit: Here is a link to a sample list to get some wheels turning: http://mtgtop8.com/event?e=11746&d=266965&f=LE

Hi there, I've been playing RW death and taxes lately with Magus of the Moon and Imperial Recruiter mainboard and a Pia and Kiran Nalaar sideboard. The deck has been doing better than the Mono-W version and I was wondering what yall think about it. Magus is just really good... Resolving it makes you favored against most legacy decks from Grixis delver to MUD... I highly suggest yall give the deck a try. Also, instead of filling up your mainboard with suboptimal cards like Serra Avenger and Mirran Crusader, you can play powerful cards like Recruiter and Magus.

I read an interesting article today about Magic's possible future:
    https://curatingthefuture.com/2016/01/15/magic_hearthstone_solforge_disruption/

This would really make those who have invested much into the game mad. But I think it is inevitable because of the reasons stated in the article and because of counterfeiters getting better and better in their practice.
